69- a late christmas

Arthur was finally released from St. Mungos, they wanted to spend Christmas with him so it was more of a late Christmas which they didn't mind.

Jesse woke up and got herself ready, she hadn't had the money to purchase any Christmas presents this year but she hoped everyone didn't mind that fact. She was now sharing her room with Hermione as well as Ginny which made it quite cramped.

Jesse had finished getting ready and headed downstairs, Molly walked over to Jesse and gave her a warm hug "merry Christmas love" she spoke "merry Christmas to you too Molly" she smiled as Molly let go of her "I couldn't afford any presents this year I hope that's okay?" She nodded "of course !"

It was lunchtime and everyone was sat down, Jesse was sat next to George and Sirius as Molly wheeled Arthur in and everyone cheered.

Everyone ate their Christmas lunch and once everyone was finished Molly started to hand out presents to everyone, most got a jumper or scarf or another knitted item. Jesse opened hers and saw a emerald green jumper with an J on it. She smiled and thanked Molly and noticed Fred and George had a familiar jumper each with their initials on them.

Jesse excused herself and walked upstairs. She had put on the jumper on top of her shirt. She walked into her room and sat on the bed. She picked up two letters and thought about sending them before she placed them back down on her bed

"You alright?" She glanced up at the door and saw George "of course why?" He smiled and sat next to her on the bed "do you want to use Ron's owl to send them ? I'm sure he'll allow you" he said. Jesse nodded and leant against George and held the letters in her hand "ones to mom and ones to dad"

George nodded and kissed Jesse's cheek "I'll go ask Ron for you okay?" She nodded and gave George a smile "thanks Georgie~" she responded as George left the room.

Not long after, Sirius entered the room and sat next to Jesse "it's not like you to not join in the festivities" Sirius spoke with a small smile "oh.. I'm just missing mom" she said and Sirius hugged jesse's "well as your godfather I'm here for you" Jesse nodded in response "thanks uncle Sirius" she said and leant against Sirius.

"You know.. Katherine came to Hogwarts and threatened me" Sirius groaned "oh merlin.. I'm sorry she's such a cow" he exclaimed and stood up "now let's go and join in okay" he spoke with his hand out for Jesse. She grabbed his hand and followed him downstairs.
