3 - they Arrive

A couple weeks had passed and it was time for the other two schools competing in the Tri-wizard Tournament to arrive. Everyone had rushed outside to see a carriage carried by a dozen flying horses with Hagrid helping it land. As the flying carriage landed. People pointed towards the black lake as a giant ship raised from the lake, causing a lot of 'ooo's and 'aaah's from the Hogwarts students.

Majority of students were back in the great hall and Dumbledore got the students attention "please help me welcome the other two schools competing in the Tri-Wizard tournament, firstly beauxbaton academy and their headmistress Olympe Maxime!" He pointed towards the doors of the great hall as they flung open, girls filtered into the great hall, the boys oogling them, Jesse glanced over at George and noticed him also staring at the girls, which made her jealous, an unfamiliar feeling which confused her slightly. As the girls entered, they retired at the Ravenclaw table as their headmistress joined the teachers table.

"And now for Durmstrang institute and their headmaster Igor Karkaroff!" Dumbledore spoke as everyone watched the doors of the great hall as the Durmstrang students filtered in, they were doing tricks as they walked through the great hall, all the girls in awe over the fitness of the boys from the institute. Jesse ignored them even though they were quite pretty men. The Durmstrang students joined the slytherin table, a few sitting in the spare seats next to Jesse, they were quite large and beefy which intimidated Jesse as she was a quite small girl. Dumbledore greeted the headmaster Igor.

Dumbledore got ahold of the attention again. Everyone's gaze turning towards the front of the hall again. "As you all know, we are here for the Tri-Wizard tournament which consists of three competitions with one overall winner! As stated before, no one under the age of 17 is allowed to enter, now.." he turned towards the box which was opened to reveal the goblet of fire which Dumbledore explained those who wished to enter must place their names in the goblet of fire before the upcoming Thursday. After his speech he allowed the students to eat their meal whilst having small conversations with one another.

Jesse and Elise were sat in the great hall, studying as people came in to put their name into the Goblet of Fire, students cheering every time someone from their respected school placed their name in. "So do you think Thomas will actually enter?" Elise said and turned towards Jesse "I don't know, maybe he will" she gave Elise a smile. "So tell me about yours and George's little conversation in potions~" Elise said, making Jesse blush "um.. we were just talking about dragons that's all" she looked down and blushed more, her cheeks a deep shade of pink "oooo~" Elise teased and nudged Jesse slightly.

Jesse and Elise were soon interrupted when Fred and George walked in with an aging potion. George shot Jesse a wink before turning back to Fred "we cooked it up this morning"

Hermione, a fourth year Gryffindor chuckled "it's not going to workkk" she spoke towards the twins "oh yeah" Fred responded "why's that granger?" Hermione scoffed and pointed towards the age line "this is an age line, Dumbledore drew it himself" Fred looked at the girl and replied "so?" "So a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by a dodge as pathetically dim witted as an ageing potion" Hermione crossed her arms "and that's why it's so Brilliant" Fred spoke "because it's so pathetically dim witted" George finished off Fred's sentence

George and Fred then stood up and prepared to taken the potion "ready Fred?" George asked "ready George" Fred replied to his twin. They both crossed arms and took the aging potion before jumping over the age line and placing their names in the goblet of fire. The room filled with cheers as many believed they had actually beaten the age rule. However moments later, the red haired twins were fired back into the great hall, laughter filling the room. As they looked up, they both had long beards and hair, white as snow. Jesse chuckled and looked at them both quarrel on the floor.

Dumbledore entered the room, making the boys break apart "well it's an impressive attempt at a beard but I don't think it's as good as mine" he spoke out before sending the boys off to madam pomfrey to get the age sorted. Jesse felt the need to rush over and follow them however she changed her attention over to the slytherin who had entered the room. She stood up and headed over to Thomas "so you entering?" She asked him before he returned a nod. She stood back as she watched Thomas enter the age line and place his name in, a few slytherin's cheering for him.

Thomas joined Jesse and Elise and gave them a smile "you know Tommy, if you get chosen all the girls will be swooning over you" Jessie stated with a smirk creeping onto her face. Thomas threw his arms around Jesse's shoulder and squeezed her slightly "well I'll only be looking at one girl whilst all those others will be looking at me" he replied, earning a squeal from Elise. Jesse blushed and shoved Thomas slightly "oh Tommy I never knew you liked Elise" she sniggered with her reply "oh Thomas, I never thought you like me back!" Elise joked, whilst linking arms With Jesse. Thomas sighed and looked at the two girls "whatever shall I do with you both" he spoke before they headed off to the common room.
