15 - get away from me!

It was the last day of school before the Christmas holidays, Fridays were quite busy for Jesse which she was glad about that fact, however she did have Herbology with George which would be painful since it's a double. She walked into Herbology and went over to Elise, ignoring the red head that was sat across from her. She gave him a weak smile before going back to talking to Elise "you still haven't made up" Elise whispered to Jesse which she shook her head.

The lesson was actually not too boring, except from the flared she received from Lee which she felt pierce through her. Her and Elise have gotten closer over the past couple of days, discussing their boy and girl trouble, man did Elise get around everyone, she had revealed a lot to Jesse which made Jesse happy to know Elise was just as comfortable with her as she was with Elise.

Jesse was heading to the great hall to grab some lunch, she had missed out of breakfast so she was starving, however she soon felt someone pull her into a empty broom cupboard, her only thought was 'if this is George I'm going to kill him' however she looked at the boy stood infront of her. Duncan, the durmstrang boy she had met earlier on in the year before the first challenge "what do you want?" He leaned forward and kissed Jesse, she was surprised and most definitely didn't like it. She shoved Duncan into the clean supplies before running out of the cupboard and into someone. "Merlin, I'm so sorry" she said before she headed off to the great hall.

Once she arrived in the great hall she sat next to Elise and sighed "never leave me alone again" she said, her heading against the table "what happened Jesse?" Elise asked, concern in her voice "that Duncan guy kissed me in the broom closet" she groaned at the thought of it "you know, I've gone off my food" Elise chuckled slightly "I'm guessing he's not a good kisser?" Jesse shook her head "he's disgusting, I can't wait for him to go back home" she sighed and sat back up.

For the majority of the lunch hour, she barely touched her food, the thought of Duncan kissing her put her completely off when she thought about the kiss. Thomas had recently joined them, leaving Elise to fill him in on what happened "Awh Jesse babe~ did you not enjoy the kissy wissy" Thomas teased whilst looking at Jesse, earning himself a swat to the left arm and a glare "how about I kiss you and then you don't have to think about it?" Thomas said confidently. Jesse blushed a deep red whilst allowing her hair to cover her face as she looked at her feet. 'Dang it Tommy' she thought as she tried to hide the obvious blush on her face.

Jesse was allowed out of her ancient runes lesson to head to the toilet. She hadn't been since before Herbology and mainly just drank throughout lunch. The corridors were quiet and peaceful, not for long, she wandered the halls until she was faced with the same boy she had been before. Duncan. He walked over to her and hugged her tightly, grabbing her butt as he did.

Jesse shoved the boy away, making him land on the floor, she felt disgusting at the action "what the hell?!" She shouted slightly, not caring if anyone else heard. Duncan stood back up "oh don't be a party pooper, I know you liked the kiss earlier" she slowly started to walk away from him before he grabbed her arm and shoved her against the wall "you know I still Think you're very beautiful" she tried to pull herself away however the durmstrang boy was too strong. She wished in that moment that someone would walk past.

As if by magic { ;) } George had been strolling the halls, during his Free period. He was trying to think of ways he could make it up to Jesse, he missed her and before he knew, he'd save her. He turned the corner and saw Duncan holding Jesse against the wall. He ran over and shoved Duncan onto the floor "that's no way to treat a lady!" He shouted at the boy before turning to Jesse, she fell to the floor and sighed "thank you George.." she mumbled, still in shock over what happened. George picked Jesse up bridal style "do you want to tell a teacher about this?" He asked her.

Once he knew he was far enough away from Duncan he sat Jesse down on a bench "I don't know.. I should get back to my lesson" she spoke as she attempted to stand up before George stopped her "at least take a minute to breathe, plus just tell your professor what happened, they'd understand" he spoke with a smile. The air lingered in awkwardness as they both sat in silence "I'm sorry Georgie.." Jesse said whilst looking at the floor "I don't hate you" she mumbled before she received a smile from the boy "I'm sorry too, I overreacted" he responded.

Jesse nodded and stood up "I should head back now" she gave George a smile "thank you again" she said before heading back to her lesson. George followed her, insisting that he was her bodyguard which she found quite funny. She walked back into the lesson and up to the professor, explaining to her what had happened. She gave Jesse a sincere smile before allowing her to sit back down. Thomas glanced at Jesse and whispered to her "are you okay?" She replied with a nod before carrying on her work.
