Opposites Attract , A George Story

41- happy birthday

An: so only a couple more chapters until Jesse goes to Romania!! I'm going to be writing chapters of her in Romania as I think it'll be a cool idea to make the story a little more different.

Jesse was woken up by her excitable best friend "happy birthday!!!" She hugged Jesse tightly before she could even fully wake up "thanks Elise.." Elise let go of Jesse and handed her her present "oh Elise~ you didn't have to get me anything" she added. Jesse opened the present and gasped "Elise~ you're too kind" she spoke before taking out the emerald green dress "well I saw you looking at it when we went to Hogsmeade so I asked my mom to pick it up for you"

Jesse hugged Elise tightly and smiled happily "I guess we should get up then" Jesse nodded "yes~ because I'm hungry" she stood up and got herself dressed in her uniform, it was a Wednesday so sadly she had to go to lessons and she had possibly the worse lesson that day, Arithmancy, luckily Elise made it less boring. Once they were both dressed, they headed down to the great hall and got themselves some breakfast.

Jesse received quite a few happy birthdays from those on the slytherin table, mainly the other 6th years who she grew up with. She was now of the age to do magic outside of school and didn't have a tracker on her, so she could rub it in George's face. Her and Elise sat down and ate their breakfast before she felt two people stood behind herself. She turned around and saw two familiar redheads "hello boys"

George and Fred looked at her "happy birthday Jesse" they spoke at the same time, both handing her a present. She smiled and took them "thank you both of you" she turned back around and opened them, from Fred she got a prototype of one of their products, extendable ears "we just made them~ so you'll have to tell them how good they are" Jesse nodded before opening her present from George, she gasped as there was a little pink Pygmy Puff "omg thank you Georgie!" She stood up and hugged him tightly "hmm.. im going to call him bubblegum" she added before sitting back down.

Jesse had finished her lessons and sighed happily as she sat down in the common room "I'm glad lessons are over" Jesse said to Elise. Thomas walked over to them and handed Jesse a small box "happy birthday" Jesse sat up and opened the box, it was a small charm for her bracelet, a cat charm "thanks Thomas" she added before putting it on her bracelet.

Thomas sat down across from them "I know I still have to make it up to you.. and that's what I'm trying to do" he added "well good~ because you hurt her Thomas" Elise added. Jesse sighed "down girl~" she chuckled and said to Elise "come on.. just let's all get along~ it is my birthday!" They both nodded in response and carried on their conversation.

Jesse was sat in the astronomy tower, it was peaceful just to sit there and watch the stars, the muggles loved things like this, star gazing and watching the stars, one thing Jesse had in common with the muggles. Even though she never met a muggle properly.

George walked up behind her and sat next to her "I thought I'd find you here" he said as he sat down. Jesse looked over at the boy and smiled "I like watching the stars~ they're so beautiful" George wrapped his arm around Jesse and pulled her closer "that's true~ they're beautiful just like you" Jesse chuckled slightly "that was cheesy George" she added, making George blush slightly

"So I'm going to Romania soon" Jesse said, breaking the silence "I'll miss you for that month you know" George said and Jesse nodded "well~ I'm staying with my uncle lupin so I'll ask him if I can see you when I get hold and back to his" George titled his head "Lupin is your uncle" Jesse shook her head "no no~ I just call him that since my dad is friends with him and I basically grew up with him"

"Aaah~ that makes more sense" Jesse nodded "my dad was also friends with Harry's mom and dad, Sirius and Peter Pettigrew" she added in "that's pretty neat~ sad that he's only really got Lupin left though" Jesse nodded and leant against George "that's true.. I can't remember much of James and Lily.. I was only two when they died" George nodded "well I won't tell Harry because he'll probably be jumping down your throat about it"

Jesse chuckled and sighed happily "yeah~ I'm excited to see Lupin though~ I wish I could see Sirius too, he was always such a jokester, I can remember that much" she looked up at George with a smile "it's been a good birthday" she said with a smile.
