28 - double date

An: honestly I think this is one of my favourite chapters so far

Elise shook Jesse awake "Jesseee wake up!!" She exclaimed, excited about something. Jesse groaned and peaked up at Elise "whaaaaat?" She glanced at her "come on come on come on!! You said you'd go on that date with me and Charlotte! Which means you've gotta ask Georgeee" she said, shoving Jesse out of bed.

Jesse eventually got up off the floor "fine fine I'll go ask him at breakfast" she got herself dressed and brushed through her hair "so when is the date?" Elise smiled "this afternoon on the Hogsmeade trip! We'll go to the three broomsticks and have a great time" Jesse nodded and stuffed her wand into her boot before heading down to breakfast.

When she reached the great hall she noticed George at the Gryffindor table, she walked over to him and sat next to him "morning" she spoke quietly, she shuffled closer to him and whispered to him "I need to ask you something" George nodded "tell me after you've eaten yeah?" He said with a smile before Jesse started to eat some breakfast.

Jesse finished eating and turned to George "so like,, Elise wants me to go on a double date with her and Charlotte so I wanted to ask you if you'd come with me?" She messed with her fingers as she asked him, looking down at them. George chuckled and smiled "sure~ when is it?" Jesse looked up at George with a smile "on the Hogsmeade trip later" she spoke with a grin on her face "thanks Georgie"

Jesse stood up and headed back to the common room, she made her way up to her room and began to get ready, she wasn't too excited for this double date however she was determined to make herself look nice for George. Elise walked into the dorm and chuckled "thought you weren't too bothered?" Jesse blushed "shush! I want George to like me~"

Elise laughed to herself "oh merlin! He already likes you Jesse" Jesse blushed and grabbed her coat and hat "oh shush Elise~" she pulled on her coat and waited for Elise to get ready.

Elise and Jesse waited for Charlotte and George near the bridge to Hogsmeade. They both headed towards them, Jesse smiled warmly "hi Georgie~ thank you for coming along" Elise hugged Charlotte tightly and pecked her lips "Im so excited for this!" Elise spoke as her and Charlotte held hands and headed down to Hogsmeade.

George and Jesse followed behind them both, not being as affectionate as the couple "they really do love each other don't they?" Jesse nodded at George's comment "they do~ it's really cute though" Jesse smiled up at George "she thought I'd get into a relationship before her" Jesse confessed making George blush "did she?" George asked which Jesse nodded to.

They both arrived at the three broomsticks after Charlotte and Elise, they had already sat down at a table and ordered 4 butterbeers, George and Jesse joined them both, giving each other a smile "so Jesse~ George~ when are you two getting together?" Elise asked them both. They both blushed "well uh.. we've only been friends since September Elise~ don't you think it's too soon?" Jesse said, saving herself slightly.

All four of them talked for a good hour, Jesse got to know Charlotte more and trusted her with Elise. Elise mainly questioned George on anything, being her overprotective self. They exited the three broomsticks and headed back to the school, Jesse walking with George "I'm sorry that Elise basically grilled you on everything" Jesse said whilst glancing up at the redhead, his shook his head and smile "don't worry about it~ I enjoyed it today" he said before he kissed Jesse's cheek "I would've liked it better if it was just the two of us though" he added.

Jesse chuckled and stopped once they reached the school building "well then ask me on a date~" she said before walking into the building and heading back to her common room. She just told George to ask her on a date and she couldn't be embarrassed with herself, she'd never been that ambitious before, maybe it was George bringing out the best in her.
