8 - hogsmeade

Today was the first hogsmeade trip of the year, usually Jesse didn't bother however, with her dads new job she knew it was important she went to visit him "so Blossom. Figure you can get us some discounts now your beastly father works for honeydukes?" One of the Slytherin boys asked "oh fuck off Pucey" Elise replied for Jesse, walking away from the group of slytherin's "maybe I should just stay home?" Jesse stated making Elise shake her head "no no no, you told me you promised to see him so that's what you'll do"  she said with a smile.

Jesse and Elise had arrived in Hogsmeade, she looked around slightly "no Thomas today?" Jesse questioned, earning a look from Elise "oh uhhhh.. he's got homework, yeah! He's got homework" Jesse giving her an unconvincing look "okay" she replied still not convinced with what Elise said.

They both arrived at honeydukes, which was busy as ever, she saw her dad and gave him a warm smile. She bought herself some sweets "hi dad" she spoke whilst paying for the sweets. "I have my break in 10 minutes, I'll meet you at the three broomsticks?" He asked receiving a nod from his daughter "Sure". She left the shop after Elise had also paid for her drink "so anywhere else you'd like to go Elise?" She asked "hmm not really~ I mainly came to support you" she spoke before noticing some slytherin boys "actually~ I need to beat up a few boys don't wait up" she said with a devious smile before heading off in the direction towards the boys.

Jesse was sat in the three broomsticks with a butter beer as she waited for her dad to arrive. She noticed him walking in and order a butter beer before sitting down "hey love" he said in a raspy voice "how's work been?" She asked him with hopeful eyes "decent, those slytherin boys were quite a pain though" she nodded "don't worry, Elise sorted them out" Jesse smirked and leant back in her chair "and here I thought you were a HufflePuff" he chuckled as she heard her words "are you and mom okay?" She mumbled slightly, hoping for a good answer. Kevin placed his hands over Jesse's "Jesse, me and your mother are perfectly fine" he gave her a sweet smile.

After a good half an hour of talking, Kevin had to leave to go back to work, Jesse stood up and hugged him tightly "I'll see you on the next trip" she let go of him and headed back outside, looking for Elise. She found her around a corner, finishing beating up the slytherins. "Oh hey!" Elise spoke, her usual gleeful self. "Ready to head back?" Jesse questioned "yep and you can tell me how things went with your dad" she exclaimed. Jesse had a massive smile plastered over her face "it was great to see him and catch up, he's not making loads of money but it's decent" she explained, as they headed back to Hogwarts

Once they arrived back at Hogwarts, they headed back to the common room "so where is Thomas?" Jesse asked, hoping to get a better answer from Elise "he's got homework, I told you this" she exclaimed, a little more solid with her story. "Hmm sure" she entered the common room through the portrait key before taking her seat on the sofa's. Thomas joining them from upstairs "so how was homework?" Jesse spoke, seeing if she could crack the story. Thomas looked confused for a second before catching on "oh yeah, it was boring how was time with your dad?" He asked, sighing slightly that he had kept what he'd done a secret.

Sorry this chapter is a little shorter than previous ones! I just wanted cute father and daughter moments with Jesse and her dad!
