It was a typical Wednesday, Jesse had Arithmancy and study periods, probably her most boring day. She was heading towards the library to study during her free periods. The corridors were quiet thankfully, once she had reached the library she sat down at a free table and put all her books down. She went to collect all the necessary books before resuming her place at the table.

The library was of course quiet however some students were littered around, some being from Beauxbaton and durmstrang. The durmstrang students sat at the slytherin table so Jesse had made small talk with them before however she wasn't interested in them and their flirtatious tendencies.

After half an hour in the library, more students littered in, including a certain group of Durmstrang boys, she recognised them as the boys who sat near her in the great hall "great" she mumbled under her breath, looking away from them hoping they wouldn't notice her.

Before Jesse had time to get up and leave, one of them had already walked up to her table and sat down "hello there" he spoke, giving Jesse a mischievous smile "hi." Jesse said bluntly in reply to the male "I'm Duncan, is nice to meet you" Jesse sighed and closed her book, causing a slam to echo throughout the library "I'm Jesse. Can I help you with anything?" She said with a sassy tone to her voice "vell I thought you were very beautiful and vanted to get to know you" Jesse nodded, a small blush creeping onto her face due to the fact someone had callee her beautiful.

They both sat in silence for awhile, Jesse could feel the boys stare on her whilst she read through her books. However luckily for her, George had entered the library to scope it out for his and Fred's next prank as he noticed Jesse awkwardly sat at a table with another boy. He felt a sense of jealously and decided to walk over "hey Jess~ how are you?" He sat down next to her and smirked. Jesse jumped slightly at the extra presence "um.. I'm fine george thanks for asking" she said, looking up at him with a confused smile. She had noticed that George had called her Jess, a nickname which only few used, such as her parents but it made her feel all warm to know he called her it. "And who's your friend~?" He mentioned, pointing towards the Durmstrang boy sitting opposite her "oh that's Duncan from Durmstrang, he came over to watch me study" Jesse said whilst looking at George, hoping he'd get her out of the awkward situation.

George noticed the look from Jesse and decided to take a bit of Fred's advice which was to 'just grab her with no hesitation' Fred was much bolder than George when it came to girls and romance, George became flustered around girls unlike his twin. George sighed and looked at Jesse "well if you'd excuse us Viktor, Jesse promised to help me study" George stood up and grabbed Jesse's bag for her. Jesse glanced at George with a confused look before nodding "yep, he's quite useless with potions so I've got to help him so Snape doesn't bite his head off" Jesse grabbed her books and stood up following George out of the library

"Thanks for that George" Jesse said with a smile "oh no problem" he replied "I can help you with potions if you want, I did mean it when I said you're hopeless" George gasped "I'm not hopeless" Jesse giggled at George's reaction "I literally have to tell you what to put in" George crossed his arms and pouted slightly "at least I'm good enough to be in snape's class" Jesse nodded "I'll give you that one~" she said with a grin. She looked forward and noticed Elise "me and Elise have Arithmancy together so I'm going to catch up with her, thanks for saving me from that Durmstrang guy though!" She spoke before rushing over to Elise "hey Elise" she said, slightly out of breathe from running down the corridor towards the dark haired girl.

George sighed happily to himself as he watched Jesse run off towards her slytherin friend. He headed back to the Gryffindor common room where he saw Fred and lee sat discussing their next prank "so you scoped out the library?" Fred asked, making George slightly curse him "I got a little caught up saving Jesse" he replied, rubbing the back of his neck slightly. A large smirk appeared on Fred's face as he stood up and wrapped his arm around George's shoulders "oh really~? Tell us everything!" Fred pulled George to sit down as he explained what had previously happened in the library, content that he got to speak with Jesse more.
