81- The N.E.W.T exams

The dreaded week was here, it was time for Jesse, Elise, Charlotte, Thomas and the countless other 7th years to start their N.E.W.T exams.

Jesse had spent a lot of her time studying, without George being there, she devoted a lot of her time to studying.

Her and Elise were in the library, they had their Arithmancy examinations that afternoon, so they were spending their free times out of lessons studying for the Arithmancy exam.

Jesse was sat at lunch, she was eating a sandwich when a letter was dropped in front of her. She picked it up and opened it, reading the parchment inside.

I hope your newts go well!
Soon you'll be with me and Freddie in the shop.

Write me back after your exams and tell me how they have gone

Jesse smiled brightly and slid the letter into her robe pocket, keeping it there for good luck "who was the letter from?" Elise asked her "oh it was from Georgie, wishing me luck" he added with a smile.

Jesse and Elise just entered the Arithmancy exam, she was sat at her desk, Elise was sat a couple of rows behind her. She opened the paper and let out a sigh before starting.

She had George's words in her mind, how proud he was of her, how he hopes she does well. She felt amazing and couldn't stop writing down her answers.

She was doing it, she was doing her final Hogwarts exams and soon she would be leaving Hogwarts and getting a job and living with fred and George. She was excited to see how things would progress for her and George's relationship.

Her first day of exams were over and she headed up to her dorm room so she could get on writing a letter to George. She wrote down how the exams went and how she was feeling.

Even though she had seen George the other day for her birthday, she was still missing him dearly. He was her other half and even though she did enjoy having George around and she did enjoy having time to study. She still wanted her Georgie bear with her.

Jesse sealed the letter and walked out of the common room and towards the owlery to give one the letter to George.

Once she reached the owlery, she handed one the letter and told it where to take it, as she was walking down from the tower, she noticed a figure in the distance "hello?" She spoke out, wondering who was there.

As the figure came forward, she let out a sigh "merlin Thomas.. you can't sneak up on me like that" she explained as she saw the boy "oh sorry.. I noticed you wonder off and I.. yeah"

Jesse titled her head "what Thomas?" She asked him sternly "I got a letter.. from George" he explained "he wanted me to keep an eye on you incase Roger did anything" Jesse nodded and walked back with Thomas "oh.. I thought he hated you" Jesse said with a smile.

Thomas chuckled and nodded "yes.. I thought that too but I'm guessing he dislikes Roger more" Thomas replied.

They both reached the common room "I think I'm going to head to bed" she explained "Alright, goodnight" Thomas replied as Jesse disappeared up to bed.
