77- I'm leaving

George had been dreading tell Jesse, Fred had told him to tell her on his birthday but he couldn't muster up the courage to tell her. It was Saturday, a Hogsmeade trip. He thought he could take her to the three broomsticks and tell her then.

He walked up to the library and found her sat reading some books, he walked over to her and sat down across from him "hi cupcake" Jesse looked up at him and smiled "hello" she spoke back.

"So would you like to go to the three broomsticks today with me today?" Jesse nodded and gave him a smile "of course Georgie" George nodded and stood up, holding his hand out for Jesse, she took his hand and walked with him out of the library.

Once they both reached Hogsmeade, they both headed to the three broomsticks, George grabbed two butterbeers and sat down in a booth with Jesse, handing her a butterbeer. "I can pay you back for this" Jesse said to which George shook his head "no no it's fine"

There was a few moment of silence before George grabbed Jesse's hand "Jesse.. I need to talk to you about something" Jesse looked over at George and nodded "okay~" George let out a sigh "so.. in the next week or so.. me and Fred are leaving" she titled her head at his comment "leaving?" She questioned him.

"We're starting a business and we don't need our exams or anything.. So we decided to leave to start it off sooner rather than later" he spoke, worrying about what Jesse would say. Jesse stayed silent and thought about what George said.

"Well just promise you'll send me an owl once a week" she finally stated. George smiled gleefully and hugged her tightly "of course I will" he said with a smile "I'm so glad you reacted so well" he mumbled into the hug. Jesse pulled away from him and kissed his cheek "I'm your girlfriend~ I'm here to support you Georgie" she stated whilst hugging him again.
