66- The Patronus charm

The morning after, Jesse woke up and looked at the redhead who's bed she was residing in. She took a minute and realised what happened the previous night and knew Lee and Fred would most likely be in two of the three other beds in the dorm.

Jesse sat up and stretched out, George was still sound asleep, of course, she pulled the curtains aside slightly and stood up, she walked past georges bed and noticed both Lee and Fred were still both asleep, she checked the time, 6am perfect. She walked towards the bathroom and went to the loo before returning.

The once asleep redhead had woken up "morning George~" she spoke quietly, sitting on the bed next to him "you know.. I think that was the best sleep I've had in a while" he spoke with a smile, making the girl blush "I'm going to go back to my dorm before everyone wakes up" she added before kissing George's cheek, picking up her clothes and walking out of the boys dormitory.

Once she reached her own dorm, she noticed Elise and Charlotte cuddling on her bed which made her smile, she sat on her bed and stroked snow before she got ready for the day. It was a Wednesday which meant a D.A meeting later on in the day which she was excited about.

Jesse was sat criss cross apple sauce on her bed, Charlotte had left already and Elise had just finished getting ready "so you and George spent the night together huh?" She said with a smirk, Jesse nodded and closed her book and grabbing her bag "yes we did" Elise and Jesse both walked out of their dorm and down to breakfast "so did anything happen?" She asked, nudging the girl slightly "um.. I'll tell you later" she spoke with her cheeks flushed a light pink colour.

They both sat at the Slytherin table that morning, Umbridge always got annoyed when houses mixed so sitting at the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff table wasn't an option anymore for the girls "so have you heard about those two Gryffindor boys?" Elise asked Jesse to which she shook her head "apparently two boys called Dean and Seamus have gotten together" she added "awe~ I bet they're a cute couple though" Jesse said with a smile.

Jesse and Elise were sat in Arithmancy, it was a boring lesson but Jesse knew it had to be done. She glanced over at Elise and pulled a funny face which made her laugh slightly, Elise covered her mouth and tried to not let their professor notice them messing around.

The professor was discussing the N.E.W.T exams that would be taking place, they were learning The last couple of things they needed to know before starting to study for the subject after Christmas break.

Jesse left the lesson and let out a sigh of relief "remind me why we took this class again?" Jesse asked Elise "we were allowed to take an extra subject because of our O.W.L results" she nodded "why didn't we take something elseee" Jesse complained and chuckled "well we are still going to rock those exams" Elise exclaimed as they headed to lunch.

It was soon late afternoon. Jesse and Elise were heading to the room of requirement, they checked around themselves before the door appeared and they entered and joined the others who were also in the room, awaiting the rest of the members to join them all.

Once everyone arrived, Harry explained to everyone what the patronus charm was and how it is affective, it was a defensive charm and the a corporal patronus takes on an animal figure.

To begin, everyone had to think of their happiest memory and practice until they found one which worked the best, everyone had started to make small patronus charms and some even created a full patronus.

Jesse had racked her brain but every time she tried a memory, memories of her sister flooded her mind which obviously weren't her happiest times. Harry had come over to her and tried his best to help, he told her to practice between that day and the next D.A meeting which would be the last of the year. She nodded in response and kept trying.

A familiar figure walked up to her with a smile "how's it going cupcake?" He asked her. She turned around and sighed "not very well..~ every time I think of something, I start to over think and then I begin to think of Katherine and her torturous ways" she explained, George hugged the girl and kissed her forehead "you'll get it soon~ I just know it"
