Elise shook Jesse awake early in the morning. She groaned slightly and shoved Elise away "come on Jesse! It's Christmas day" she jumped up and down and acted like a big kid "But I want some more sleeeep" Jesse groaned again before covering her head with the pillow. Elise pulled Jesse out of bed and she hit the floor with a loud 'thump' which forced her to actually get up. She sleepily made her bed and rubbed her eyes, noticing the presents that were left at the end of their beds. "Let's open them!" Elise exclaimed as they started to open their presents.

Jesse had gotten a scrapbook from her father with a note on the inside saying 'to make memories in your final years' and she put in the photos she took at the Yule ball with everyone before closing it back up. She then received a few books all around dragons from her mother along with a small notebook which read 'all things dragons' so she could write in notes for her trip to Romania in the summer. From Elise she received a photo frame which contained photos of them since their first year. She then glanced at the last present after thanking Elise for the photo. She tore the wrapping paper off and stared at the emerald green box before opening it, it held a pair of earrings along with a matching necklace, all with a emerald inside them, it came with a note saying 'from gramps' she then smiled at the thought of her grandad on her fathers side sending her a gift which was usual nether the less she loved them.

Once they had gotten ready, she helped Elise put on the necklace that Jesse had gotten her, it had a photo of them in it from their second, laughing unaware a photo was taken of them. Jesse put in emerald earrings in and put on the matching necklace before they headed down to the slytherin common room. Many of the other slytherin's weren't acting too festive which was a bummer. However they instantly headed towards the great hall which was decorated accordingly. The houses were scattered about the room, not bothering to sit on tiger assigned tables. Elise and Jesse sat down in two available seats and ate some breakfast for themselves.

Thomas walked over to the pair and handed them both a small present "here girls" he said as he sat down, giving Jesse a wink "thank you Tommy" Elise nodded "thanks" they both started to open their presents from Thomas, Elise had gotten another charm for her bracelet, it was a hufflepuff charm "a hufflepuff one for Charlotte" he added which made Elise blush. Jesse received a set of quills with a note that said 'for Romania' she smiled at the note and smiled warmly "thank you again Tommy" she said with a smile.

After they finished breakfast and headed out of the great hall, they walked towards the slytherin common room before Jesse felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw George "you guys can go ahead" she said to Thomas and Elise before they nodded and walked off. Thomas slightly jealous of George. George gave Jesse a smile "I want to give you your Christmas present" Jesse nodded "me too Georgie"

George grabbed Jesse's hand and pulled her into a desolate corridor. He handed her the package and smiled "happy Christmas" Jesse opened the present and gasped "Georgie.. this must've cost so much!" She had received a full set of protective gear for when working with dragons "it's alright, I know you'll use it" he exclaimed. Jesse hugged George tightly before pulling away and handing him his present "here~" she spoke whilst handing him the present. George opened the present and looked at the book, it had a note on it 'to write down all your joke shop ideas' "oh Jesse thank you! I needed a new one" he exclaimed before hugging Jesse tightly, lifting her off the floor slightly as he did. She hugged him back as her legs dangled.

George placed Jesse back down on the floor and looked at her. "Can I kiss you?" He mumbled slightly, loud enough for Jesse to hear. Jesse nodded slightly and before she knew it, george's lips smashed against hers. It felt like fireworks when they kissed. Jesse felt the familiar butterflies in her stomach as they kissed. George pulled away and left a soft pink tint on Jesse's face "you're good at kissing you know" he said, trying to make it less awkward. Jesse chuckled slightly "I should head back to Elise and Thomas" she said before heading off to the slytherin common room, she knew it now. She was falling for George.
