i answered the call from vallyk and sat down on my bed. neither of my parents were home, lillian and kairi are at lillian's house, and jordan and sora are at the mall.

"hey angel," he says once i answer.

"hey bub," i say. he smiles at me before starting to talk again.

"did you get my gift?" he asks. i smile and nod my head, lifting up the sweatshirt.

"i had it on earlier but i got hot," i say, "thank you so much."

"no problem. i have a bunch more so," he laughs making me laugh too.

"i meant thank you for the whole gift. and i might just have to steal a few more sweatshirts when i see you in august," i say.

"again, no problem. and you might just have to," he says.

"can august get here any slower? i'm so tired of waiting," i groan.

"same. but hey, at least it's summer," he says.

"true," i say.

"we should see how long we can stay on facetime," he says.

"like how many days?" i ask.

"yeah," he says.

"actually that sounds like a lot of fun," i say.
