Riana's POV

In no time at all, Defense Against the Dark Arts had become most people's favorite class. Only Draco Malfoy and his gang of Slytherins had anything bad to say about Professor Lupin. Honestly and he's my one, fate has a twisted sense of humor. I pray my uncle is wrong and Draco Malfoy is not my soulmate.

But Defense Against the Dark Arts has been amazing. After Boggarts, we studied Red Caps, nasty little goblin-like creatures that lurked wherever there had been bloodshed. Waiting to bludgeon those who had gotten lost. From Red Caps we moved on to Kappas, creepy. Water-dwellers that looked like scaly monkeys, with webbed hands itching to strangle unwitting waders in their ponds.

Though I do fear about when we reach nocturnal beasts Hermione and the others might figure out I'm not completely human. Well Hermione might, the other two probably won't. She might also figure out that Professor Lupin is a Werewolf. But at least Professor Lupin and I won't have to worry about that for a few weeks still.

Oliver Wood has been training our quidditch team harder then ever. As this is his last chance to get the Quidditch Cup as Captain. As this is his final year at Hogwarts. I pray we win for his suck. He deserves it after how hard he's been working the team the last three years. I was even thinking of trying out for the team next year. But I know Ron also wants to tryout.

Anyway it's time for the first Hogsmeade weekend and it's Halloween. I want to get more blood pops. But how to do that without Hermione or Ron asking questions? As I am going with them to Hogsmeade. Harry can't come as his aunt and uncle didn't sign his permission form.

"We'll bring you lots of sweets back from Honeydukes" Hermione tells Harry at breakfast.

"Yeah, loads" Ron agrees. He and Hermione had finally forgotten their squabble about Crookshanks in the face of Harry's difficulties. Which I am grateful for, as I did not want to be stuck with them bickering all day in Hogsmeade.

"Don't worry about me" Harry tells us. ""I'll see you at the feast tonight. Have a good time" he tells us.

"Sure Harry, but save us a seats?" I ask him.

"Of course I will" he assures him. He walks us to the entrance hall, where Filch, the caretaker, was standing inside the front doors. Checking off names against a long list, peering suspiciously into every face, and making sure that no one was sneaking out who shouldn't be going.

"Staying here, Potter? Scared of passing the Dementors?" Malfoy asks him. But Harry ignores him while I shot a glare his way. Hermione, Ron and I have out names checked off by Filch. We get into a carriage and it takes us to Hogsmeade.

"So where to first?" I ask the pair.

"Zonko's" Ron says as Hermione said Honeydukes.

"Ok, how about the Three Broomsticks first? We can have a butterbeer to warm up before we explore the village" I suggests.

"Sounds good" Hermione says with a smile.

"Fred and George say Butterbeer is amazing" Ron says with a smile. So we all agreed to go to the Three Broomsticks first. We arrive in Hogsmeade and order three butterbeers, which I paid for. We got a table and started talking about what places we should see. By the time we finished out butterbeers, we had a list of places we all wanted to see.

We went to Dervish and Banges, the wizarding equipment shop first. Then Zonko's Joke Shop, followed by Honeydukes. I managed to get my blood pops while the other two argued about what to get Harry. We then went to the post office. Where we saw about two hundred owls. All sitting on shelves, all color-coded depending on how fast you want your letter to get there.

We even went to a local pet shop. Where I feel in love with an Australian flying fox bat. I brought him and named him Aussie. We decide to head back to the castle. Instead of taking a carriage we walk back. We go to the common room to see Harry sitting in front of the fire place. Ron dropped a bunch of sweets onto Harry's lap.

"There you go, we got as much as we could carry" Ron tells him.

"Harry meet my new pet Aussie, it's he gorgeous?" I ask as I show him the fruit bat hanging from my arm.

"Thanks guys and he is" Harry tells us with a smile. "What's Hogsmeade like? Where did you go?" he asks us. So we start to tell him about our time in Hogsmeade.

"The post office, Harry! About two hundred owls, all sitting on shelves, all color-coded depending on how fast you want your letter to get there" Hermione explains.

"Honeydukes has got a new kind of fudge; they were giving out free samples" Ron tells him.

"Wish we could have brought you some butterbeer from the Three Broomsticks, really warms you up" I tell him. "Anway, what did you do?" I ask him curious.

"Did you get any work done?" Hermione asks him and I roll my eyes. Of course she'd ask that.

"No, I actually spent the day with Professor Lupin in his office. Lupin made me a cup of tea in his office. And then Snape came in" Harry tells us about a goblet and how Lupin drank it. It must be wolfsbane potion. To help with his transformation as it is nearly time for the next full moon. We then all go to the Great Hall for the Halloween Feast.
