Riana's POV

"Vengeance is sweet. How I hoped I'd be the one to catch you" Snape sneers glaring at Black.

"Severus..." Lupin says stepping forward and Snape points his wand at him.

"I told Dumbledore you were helping an old friend into the castle, and now here's the proof" Snape states.

"Brilliant, Snape. Once again you've put your keen penetrating mind to the task and as usual come to the wrong conclusion" Black tells him. "Now, if you'll excuse us, Remus and I have some unfinished business to attend to" he states.

"Give me a reason. I beg you" Snape sneers pointing his wand at Black's throat.

"Severus don't be a fool" Lupin pleads.

"He can't help it. It's habit" Black tells him.

"Sirius be quiet" Lupin tells him.

"Be quiet yourself Remus!" Black snaps.

"Oh listen to you two, quarreling like an old married couple" Snape says.

"Why don't you run along and play with your chemistry set" Black tells him. Snape digs his wand more into Black's neck. As I slowly raise my wand.

"I could do it, you know" Snape tells him seriously. "But why deny the dementors? They're so longing to see you. Do I detect a flicker of fear? Oh, yes. A Dementor's Kiss. One can only imagine what that must be like. It's said to be nearly unbearable to witness, but I'll do my best" he states.

"Severus please" Lupin says pleadingly.

"After you" Snape says nodding to the door.

"Sorry professor, but we need answers" I state and point my wand at him. "Stupefy" I say and he flies into the bed knocked out. "Now I have a theory" I state as Hermione complains about me attacking a teacher. "Stop me when I stray from the truth" I tell Black and Lupin. They nod their heads.

"You both went to school here with Peter Pettigrew and James Potter. You were all in the same year and became best friends. They became animagi for you to help with the full moons. Peter turned into a rat. Now Black supposedly killed Peter and a dozen innocent muggles twelve years ago, correct?" I ask and they nod their heads.

"Now they found remains of all the muggle victims. But the biggest piece they found of Pettigrew was a finger. Now Scabbers has been in Ron's family for twelve years. He also happens to be missing a toe on his front paw" I state.

"He could of gotten into a fight with a rat" Ron states.

"True, but a common garden rat will only live for four years as pets. It doesn't matter how well you've taken care of him Ronald. He should of died years ago" I state. "Now he started to get ill when the news of Black's escape was in the Daily Prophet" I add.

"No it happened when Hermione got that bloody cat" Ron snaps.

"No it did not" I tell him. "You went to the shop that day to get him rat tonic as he was ill before you returned from Egypt. Now why would Black escape prison? To kill someone, but not Harry. Am I right?" I ask Black and he nods his head.

"Then here is my theory of what really happened twelve years ago. Sirius Black never became the Potters' secret keeper. Pettigrew did and when news of the Potters deaths reached him. He tracked Peter down, not the other way around. Pettigrew faked his death and found a wizard family to take him in. So that he could keep an eye on things in our world" I explain. "Now there is a very easy way to prove this, Ron give them the rat" I tell him.

"She's right Ron, give him to them. Lets end this once and for all" Harry states. Ron reluctantly hands the rat to Black. Who is now holding Snape's wand while Lupin holds his own. Black lets the rat go and shots a spell at him with Lupin. Hitting the rat who morphs into a man.

"Remus? Sirius. My old friends!" the man exclaims and tries to run. But I block his path.

"Not so fast rat, first you are going to confess. Then Harry will decide your fate" I sneer. He looks at Harry.

"Harry! Look at you! You look so much like your father! Like James! We were the best of friends" he states.

"How dare you speak to Harry! How dare you talk about James in front of him!" Sirius shouts.

"You sold James and Lily to Voldemort, didn't you?" Lupin demands.

"I didn't mean too" Peter whines. "The Dark Lord. You have no idea the weapons he possesses! Ask yourself, Sirius! What would you have done? What would you have done?" he asks Black.

"I would have died! I would have died, rather than betray my friends!" Black shouts. "You should of taken the secret to your grave. Like James would of done for you" he states.

"Harry, he is guilty for handing your parents to Voldemort. For killing twelve innocent muggles. What is your decision?" I ask him.

"We take him to the castle" he states.

"Harry this man..." Lupin tries to say.

"I know what he is. But we'll take him to the castle" Harry tells us.

"Bless you, boy! Bless you!" Peter says bowing at his feet.

"Get off!" Harry snaps stepping away from him. "I said we'd take you to the castle. After that, the dementors can have you" he states.

"Great, lets get out of here" I say happily.

"First someone should be chained to this rat" Black states.

"I'll do it" Lupin and Ron states. So Lupin chains them to Peter. "One wrong move Peter" Lupin sneers pointing his wand at him threateningly. Hermione and I lead the way out. With Lupin, Ron and Peter follow is. Harry and Black bringing up the rear.
