I was left sitting in the dark, slumped in my wheelchair and crying. I couldn't stop him, now I was worrying something worse could happen to Dallas. I only cared about him, nothing else.
I finally looked up and stared through the window. Rain started sprinkling onto the streets.
"Y/N..." I heard Johnny say softly.
I glanced his way and he fiddled with his hands nervously. He gulped anxiously and looked at me worriedly.
"A...Are you okay?" He squeaked.
I sat there in silence. I finally shook my head.
I could feel the blood flow down from my arm. I'm glad it was dark so we couldn't see it.
"W-What are we gonna do?" He asked me.
I knew he had a bad feeling about Dallas too.
I narrowed my eyes out the window.
"We're gonna find him." I said, "Right now, let's go, Johnny."
Johnny didn't hesitate. He nodded and grabbed his Jean jacket hanging from the chair.
"Do you need help?" He asked.
"Maybe for the stairs," I said, "But I can do the rest, what about Pony?"
"He's asleep." Johnny responded.
He opened the front door and a gust of cold wind hit me like a wave. I shuddered but I moved forward into the dark night to find Dallas.

~Dallas POV~

I just ran. I kept running after what felt like hours. People cursed at me on the streets but I didn't care.
I finally stopped under some lamp post, I didn't know where I was. I collapsed to the cement on my knees.
I ran my fingers through my wet hair, soaked under the pouring rain. Through the cold raindrops on my face, some of them felt warm.
I was, crying. I thought I was Dallas Winston, the boy who hardened his heart and hadn't shed a tear in his life. But what I did to her, it broke me.
Her wrist, I grabbed it like I did all those years ago. I hurt her again. I didn't want to, but I did. The memory of the fight when we were kids came back more clearly than ever before. It torturously played over and over like a movie.
I tugged on my hair and fell slowly to a sob. I can't, I can't take this anymore. Everything I do , everything I touch, it all falls apart. No matter how far I ran, I couldn't escape the demon inside me.
I finally looked up and noticed a bright light from across the street. A grocery store, I knew where I was.
Then an idea came to me. I pulled out the empty gun from my pocket and eyed it. I felt a smile growing on my face.
The smile grew wider and I couldn't control my mind or my emotions anymore. I hysterically laughed into the sky.
It was perfect. Just take me out of the picture.

~Third POV~

The rest of the gang walked back in triumph yet exhaustion.
"Screw the party." Soda whined, "I wanna go to bed."
"But you never run out of energy." Darry said.
"I've been up for days remember?" Soda protested, "And I got a lot of 'em Socs."
They were all beat, since there were less people of the greaser side, they had to try harder. Which wasn't all that bad but it drained their energy.
They walked into the door only to see Pony coming out from the hallway, rubbing his eyes.
"Hey, you're back." He sleepily smiled, "Did we win?"
"Hell yeah!" Two grinned, "They ran the hundred yard dash under five seconds!"
"Where're Johnny and Y/N?" Darry asked.
Pony looked around then he became awake.
"They-They ain't here!" He realized.
"What?!" Darry groaned, "I told them to stay put!"
"And Dally wasn't at the rumble either!" Steve added, "He loves fights with a passion, I know that he'd never miss one. Tim was kinda down realizing he ain't coming when he promised."
"Dally ain't anywhere." Soda said worriedly.
"Wait," Pony spoke up, "I heard arguing, I think it was Dally and Y/N!"
The phone rang suddenly, making everyone silent.
"I got it." Darry said, he picked up the phone, "Hello?"
"Darry?"
"Dallas? Where are you, what's going on?"
"I-I robbed the grocery store. Meet me at the park. Don't bring Y/N and Johnny."

~Your POV~

We had traveled a while into the night. I had lost track, but all I cared was finding Dallas.
"Dallas!" I called.
"Y/N." Johnny said softly, "I think we should head back."
"Not yet Johnny." I said, "We have to keep looking."
"But the rain stopped a while ago." Johnny said nervously, "Everyone should be back by now-,"
"No!" I blurted out, "I'm not gonna stop! I won't stop until I find him. You can go back, but I'm not. I love him, but now I'm afraid something might happen."
Johnny was quiet. I looked back and he was smiling.
"Alright." He nodded, "We'll keep searching."
"Thanks Johnny." I said softly.
We reached the park from the other side, I guess we went in a circle.
Sirens wailed faintly in the distance. The sounded like police cars, not an ambulance.
The sound was getting louder and closer. We both stopped when it could be heard very near from us.
Johnny and I looked to where it was coming from. I saw a dark figure running away from the street towards our way but through the park.
"You'll never get me alive!" He yelled at the cars.
I knew right then and there that it was Dallas. In his hand, it held a gun. Policemen opened their car doors.
My heart sank. I didn't know what was going on or why Dallas was doing this. But I knew that they were going to kill him.
I didn't think. I jumped out of the wheelchair and sprinted towards him.
"Y/N!" Johnny cried out.
My legs aches heavily and my side was pierced with sharp pains. I felt weak and my lungs burned. But that was the fastest I ever ran in my life.
I was getting closer to him, but I saw the policemen aiming their guns as they ran. I was running out of time with mere seconds to spare.
Three
"No!" I cried out, "Please don't shoot!"
They couldn't hear me, neither did Dallas. He aimed the gun at them.
Two
They were getting ready to shoot him. I leapt forward as far as I could with all my remaining strength.
One
"Dallas!" I screamed at him.
He glanced my way and his eyes widened.
BAM
BAM
BAM
