Chapter 8 Part 6

After 6 hours of answering the test papers, the exam is finally done.

The bell then rang.

" Alright!! Time is up!! Be sure to review your answers okay? " Sensei stated.

I then passed my test papers forward and started to look at the windows for the view.

As soon as the bell stopped ringing everybody started to stand up and exited the classroom.

Kiba and Schwartz started to invite their girls only company to the cafeteria to relax and ate up.

They then walked away with confidence that they passed the exam.

I wonder if Shimazu did her best.

Speak of the devil, Shimazu, along with Onodera, Date and Tokugawa approached me.

I then asked them, " Why? Are you guys staring at me like I did a crime or something? "

" Did you do your best then? " Onodera asked.

" Of course I did. " I said bluntly.

" I was looking at you and you were barely looking at the test papers you were answering, are you really that confident? " She said.

Sensei was still here and stared at me, wearing her usual smile of course.

" I answered it with all I got, could you really blame me if I got a low score? " I told her.

" I believe Uesugi-kun. " Shimazu broke the argument between me and Onodera.

" He is doing his best and I know it. " She added.

Thank you Shimazu.

Onodera started to stare at me and then smiled.

" Of course! I was just kidding around with Uesugi-kun you know? " She then laughed.

I looked at Date and Tokugawa then asked them how did they answer the test.

" How is the test Date and Tokugawa? "

" Uhm...it is fine I think. " Date timidly said.

" Yeah, Date and I will be fine so don't worry about it. " Tokugawa added.

The two of them started to look at each other and smiled.

That is nice then.

" Uesugi-kun, would you like to join us in the cafeteria? " Onodera asked me.

" Yeah but maybe later, I have to do something else before that. " I told them.

" What is that? Is it really important? " Shimazu asked.

" Well, if it's Uesugi then I am pretty sure it is related about cleaning or stuff like that right? " Onodera laughingly said.

They then started to smile at each other, but I don't see Tokugawa smiling at all.

It is not that she was looking irritated, she looks more like she is thinking about something or worrying about something, but anyways that's none of my business.

" Alright then, shall we go? I am so hungry now, and it is already PM 1:00 and we still haven't eaten anything yet. " Said Onodera while looking hungry.

I hear their belly rumbling.

" Now we have to go!! Bye bye Uesugi-kun! " Onodera waved at me along with Date, Shimazu and Tokugawa they then walked away.

It is only sensei and I.

" Sensei, what do you want to talk about? " I asked her.

She locked the room.

" Eden-san, would you be willing to help Class C on reaching Class S? " She asked me.

Eden? No one calls me by that name.

" Eden huh? So you haven't forgotten about my full name? " I asked her to completely sweep away her question.

" Of course! How would I forget Uesugi-sama's full name? It is Roach Eden Uesugi!! What a lovely name! " Looking happy she then started to giggle.

I threw that name away because I felt like I won't even be needing it.

" I know you are trying to completely ignore the question Eden-san but could you please answer it? " She said.

" Stop calling me that name, it is unnecessary. "

" Would you help Class C or not? " She bluntly asked.

" No, it is none of my business to change everything that is about to happen to my Class, Class C was doomed to stay at the bottom and I have no obligation to lend them a hand. "

" I see.... " Looking quite disappointed and upset she looked down and then smiled once again.

" Okay, Eden-san! I am pretty sure sooner enough you will change your mind. "

" Change my mind? "

" You will see soon. "

The words she was saying, sounds like a warning.

" I see, so was that it? " I asked.

" Actually, I also wanted to congratulate you for busting Ryuu Shoto! No one congratulated you for that right? Of course mama will be the first one!! " She then hugged me.

" I Asako Aki will always be by Eden-san's side okay? So whenever you need me don't forget to call me okay? " She added.

I can feel the warmth of her hands through my uniform, but I guess that is irrelevant at this moment.

" Okay Eden-san, go eat up now! You might get sick you know? " She warned me.

" If you'd excuse me Asako-sensei. " I excused myself.

" Goodbye Eden-san!! Enjoy your day! "

I closed the door after exiting and walked towards the garden to check on the puppies and on my way I bought a milk to feed them.

Barks of happiness was all I heard when I checked on them and they all started to run towards me.

I pat them one by one and told them to share with their siblings.

I poured the milk and they then arranged themselves so that all of them can drink.

I feel a bit comfortable knowing that these puppies are doing fine now, before they were in the state where they would die anytime soon, and now they are looking very healthy and well.

After the puppies had their lunch, they started to crawl towards me while looking sleepy again and all of them started sleep around me, the way they were sleeping is so adorable.

I tried closing my eyes for a while to wait for the bell to ring.

As the bell rang, I then opened up my eyes while the puppies were still sleeping.

" Goodbye. " I then wrapped all of them in a piece of clothing enough to fit them all, so that they won't feel cold.

Results are finally out so I might check on how Class C is doing in this exam.

I started to walk towards the cafeteria first to buy a bread then started to chew on it, after that I walked towards the place where they are going to display the pairs that got the highest average in each classes and years.
