Being a relative to Harry Potter is hard enough but what happens when your Harry Potter's twin sister? What happens when your the girl who lived...but nobody knows about you?

That's right. Sophie Potter, sister of Harry Potter. Marge wasn't very found of housing a Potter, nor was she found of housing a baby so when she received both in one night, well let's just say she wasn't very happy about it. What really pushed her was when Harry 'blew' her up, so half way through Sophie's third year at some posh, expensive boarding school in the middle of England Marge removed her from the school and sent her off to live with the Dursleys. Along with her 'long lost' brother.

Sophie didn't believe that she had a twin brother but once she arrived at the Dursleys, during the summer of 1994 she knew. As soon as her eyes laid on Harry she knew. During the summer the Dursleys didn't treat her or Harry with any bit of respect at all, they were eating the left overs, cleaning up after their cousin all the time. Cooking for them all and then washing for them. Sophie didn't like it with Marge but she'd preferred to be yelled at for nothing then treated like a slave.

I suppose the only good thing that happened during the summer before Harry would return to Hogwarts for his fourth year, was that not only did Sophie arrive that summer but her acceptance letter did too. Sophie was over the moon with the fact that unlike the previous year  she was going to attend school. Although she didn't like her boarding school much she would prefer that then spending her year wasting away in a house full of Dursleys. Another good thing that happened was around 2 weeks before they would be returning to school, Harry was invited to spend the remaining time of summer at his friends house. The Weasleys. And just like the big brotherly thing to do, he invited Sophie to come with and that they would go to a place called Diagon  Alley to collect her school stuff before term started.

Harry developed the big brother act quite quickly although he wasn't really older then her.
He looked out for her, he always made sure she was feeling okay and that she wasn't upset with something one of the Dursleys had said to her. And she wasn't, she held quite a strong wall up and it would be shocking if Harry would ever see that wall fall.

Sophie looked like Harry, she had long thick brown hair, even brown eyebrows and bright blue eyes. She had quite the slim figure all though she wasn't intensely 'skinny.' But how else would you expect the Potter's too look? They were never given the fair amount of food. The only thing you could say was different was that she didn't have glasses, and of course she was a female.

"Harry have you seen my scarf?" Sophie was packing her things the evening before they would be travelling to the Weasleys.

"Scarf?" Harry asked poking his head through their shared bedroom door. "Why would you need your scarf?"

"To pack it you idiot!" Sophie laughed as she threw a pillow at her brother. "I don't have to remind you that Christmas is coming do i?" She said sarcastically. "And you know what that means?" She asked. "Snow!" She said magically waving her arms around in the air.

Sophie was always a big fan of snow but her aunt was not, she hated it. Marge would be caught dead before letting Sophie play in the snow. So every year she'd take a seat by the window and watch the snow fall and watch the kids chase each other around with snowballs, and watch them make snow people. To Sophie snow was like magic, and if she loved magic then she'd love her new school.

"Your obsessed." Harry laughed. "It was in here last time i checked." He walked over to the wardrobe and opened it slowly as it let out the most annoying creaking noise. "Aha!" He gasped and pulled a long purple scarf out.

"Thankyou" She sang taking the scarf and putting it in her trunk. "Have you finished packing?"

"Nope, i never unpack." He replied with a smile. "There's no need, i know everything is where it should be if i leave it."

"That's gross." Sophie laughed. "Do you not clean your clothes?"

"It's magic Soph, ill clean them at Hogwarts, when i unpack there." He said.

"Oh right. Magic."

Sorry for the short chapter, that was kind of like a Prologue. I hope you guys enjoy the story! Im aware some things in this wont add up correctly with the books and movies but this isn't the book nor the movies so...

All these Characters don't belong to me. All but Sophie obviously.
