Max had early practice so we decided to tell my friends after . I called and asked them to meet me . They was really happy to be getting up earlier . Bethany was the 1 st to arrive baby and all .I can't help to get excited when I See his fat little face .I clap my hands and grab and give him little kisses .
" Ok what is going on , we are back at baseball practice " she says
" I will tell you when everyone else gets here . " I tell her
" But I am sorry that you walked here ." I add
" No he woke up really early and I needed the walk but I hate that we have to walk back ."she says and touches her baby's head
" I am sure I can find you a ride home ." I say
She looks at me strange , but I know Max will do it he maybe a little late for his 1 st class but he won't care .
Dexter walks up , he has dark sunglasses on he sits down behind us and kicks his legs out and says
" Mia I would not have got up extra early for anyone else so this better be good "
I laugh
" I hung out and Marco 's I have a mad hangover " he adds
Max hits the ball really far all his teams cheer .I bounce the baby and say
" Do you want to be a baseball player when you get older "
Kylie and Liv walk up at the same time . And Dexter sits up straight .
" What is going on ? " Kylie asks
She is so nosy .
" We have not been here since your bad break up with Max " she says like she is a reporter trying to find a story .
" It been a while and we always did enjoy coming here so I am way over that break up ." I say and hope they don't know what I mean .
" It was a really bad breakup are you sure you are ok ?" Liv asks
" I am fine " I answer
Dexter looks at me then to Liv poor dear thing hangover is still hurting.
" Ok then tell us what you have to say ." Kylie says in a baby voice and she plays with the baby.
" Ok as soon as practice is over " State
Everyone of them looks at me and says
"Why"
I Stand up and say " Everyone stay calm " I say
Before another word can get out of my mouth , I feel Max's arm wrap around me . My friends face is in shock .
Liv a d Dexter both stand up .
" Hi everyone " Max says
" Tell me this is not what you had to tell us ." Kylie demands
" We decided to give it another try ." I explain
" But what about how he used you ." Liv shouts
" Or how he flirt with girls right in front of you ." Dexter chimes in
I look at Max who seems sad my friends didn't welcome him with open arms so I get it . I take Max 's hand to reassure him .
" Look we want to be together and we are trying to make it work .We hope you guys will be happy for us if not then we will still be together , we would really like your support." I say
Bethany with baby in hand gets up and squeeze my hand and says
" I support you 100 percent "
" If you are happy I am happy " Dexter says
Max looks at me and I feel like we both may cry .
" I will make you pay if you hurt her again Max Rogan I mean no harm we picked her up when you dumped her last time " Liv says
I know she is right but it was a little harsh but I guess it came out of love .
" Max says "I am not making those mistakes anymore " he answers her .
We all are about to leave .
Max and I start to walk away but before we do . Kylie blurts out
" Does your brother know ?"
" No and please keep it like that ." I beg
I walk with Max until he has to go in and take off his uniform .
" That wasn't so bad " he says
We both laugh
" It will get better " I say
He leans down and I look into those beautiful blue eyes and he kisses me it is short but so sweet .
" I have a favor to ask Bethany really needs a ride home ."I tell him
" Yeah I can do that for a kiss . " he says
I laugh then kiss him . I wrap my arms around his neck and stand on my tippy toes . His strong hands rub down my back . Then he backs away and says
" But Baby if I am late for school, we won't walk in the hall together ." He says
" It is ok , we will walk the halls and eat lunch together . " I say and give him a quick kiss .
" Ok go and tell Bethany I will be a minute I just have to change . " he says and he leans down and kisses me and then says
" I love you "
And my heart swells with happiness. !!!!!!
