Chapter 23 (Max)( Detention)

I been in my seat for detention about 10 mins . We have to stay here all day .  I am here before Mia which is surprising to me . Some girl who looks like she is emo walks in and sits  three seats in front of me . Then a boy in a leather jacket walks in I have never seen him before . He sits in the back row . A few minutes later a nerd who been in the same grade as me as long as I can remember sits down in the front row . Finally Mia walks in . She has on a pair jeans I am thankful she don't have on short shorts . She stops when she gets past the teachers big desk and looks at me then around the room like she is looking for a place to sit . She moves her backpack by the handles and looks so cute . She chooses the seat even with me  but further away . I am scared  she going to try something we already found out I can't resist her .

The teacher commands us to put our phones in a box and she hands us a book she then tells us .

" I am leaving for a bit I expect every one to be done with the assignment when I get back the assignment is to read and do a book report this does not count as a grade but I want to see all you are doing it so get to work ." Then she leaves

As soon as the door shuts I hear Mia whispering

" Max just talk to me I didn't mean to get you trouble "

" Leave me alone " I bluntly say

The boy I never seen before today moves from his seat and sits next to Mia . She just looks at him .

" I am Brody   Jensen " he says and puts his hand out for her to shake .

That is a gentleman thing to do but he don't look no gentleman he looks like the poster image for a bad boy . Mia will see threw him

" Hi I am Mia Drays " she says and shakes his hand .

Now he is leaning with his arm on Mia' s desk I feel like throwing him on the floor but that won't do no good .

" What are you in detention for ?" He asks

I interrupted by saying

" Yea tell him Mia tell him what you did "

" Shut up Max nobody was talking to you " she says very rudely

I didn't expect her to say that . Could the fact that he is showing her attention be like boasting her confidence.

" I don't care I am still going to say what I want ." I say back even though it really don't make much sense

This boy I think he said his name is Brody looks at me then back at Mia . "

" Whatever " Mia says

" You knew what  you was doing "  I yell

" You wore those short  shorts because you knew they was my weakness ." I add

" So yes I was trying to get your attention but I had no I deal you would beat someone up and I really had no ideal you would drag me to the janitors closet to make out with you ." Mia yells

" You knew I could not resist you in that thing you was wearing and now you want to act like you are all nice that makes you a fake bitch . " I say as soon as do I think maybe I went too far .

Brody  looks at me and puts his hand up and says

" Let me get this straight she wore short short for you and then you got to Make out in a janitors closet with her , and you are mad at her ."

When he says it like that it dose sound like I am being unreasonable , I mean really what a

Complement she wore them for me . And getting to make out with her I mean she is like every mans dream girl .
