Chapter 34 (Mia)( Be Thankful)

After Thanksgiving meal which was really nice . I head over to the Rogan's to help Mrs . Rogan .My brother rode with me he didn't want me to go around Max , if he only knew what we was doing the last time we saw each other . But Max left mad , it was a mistake to hook up with Brody , I was trying to get over Max , he kept telling me he didn't want me . I was so hurt but it sure didn't feel like he didn't want me when we was kissing .

As we are sitting things up . I can't help but look around and see if Max would come in at any time . Hopefully he will just stay in his own little house .

" Looking for something or someone " My brother says

" No Lee " I say sharply

He puts his hands up , and says

" You didn't have to come and suffer your self . " he says

I wanted to help Max' s mother she always been nice to me .!

Mrs. Rogan walks in "

"So glad you are helping Lee ." She says

" Anythime Mrs. Rogan " my brother politely says

" Do you think you can help me get a few case of champagne out the cellar ?"

She asks They leave and I am left but I am almost done here sitting up . I get glimpse out of the window of where me and Max shared our 1 st kiss for a moment I am back in time .

" What are you doing here ?" I hear and am back into reality when I hear Max's voice

" Your mother asked me to help with the fundraiser . I tell him

He nods and turns to walk away .Then I say

" Please Max one minute."

" Mia there's is no need I get it and you should hook up with who ever you want and we shouldn't have because the past is better left in the past . " He says

His words hurt they feel like a knife threw me .

" I don't believe you no you don't kiss someone like that if you wanted it to be left in the past " I say with my voice rasied a bit .

" I told you I just kiss good" he says with a smirk

" Max why can't we just try " I beg

" Why are you so mad we was not together I felt alone and like you would never come back to me ?" I ask

" I am so mad Mia because I didn't do all I did for you to end up with that jerk ." He says

" What ?" I ask

I have no ideal what he is talking about . His face changed the expression I don't think he meant to say that .

" I didn't mean it " he says

" What all did you do ?" I ask

" I went after you and slept with you and then I wanted out it is not who I am I am a player type . But he is even badder . Brody don't deserve you at all . You And Dexter would be good together." He says

" Stop trying to get me hook up with people." I yell

" Yo Max " we hear

" I hear what you said , you slept with her and wanted nothing to do with her ." He shouts then punches Max

Fear over comes me , I run to them "

Please don't hurt him " I beg

I am down on my knees .

" Lee I am begging you don't hurt him " I am pleading and I am crying .

Lee stops and Max"s mother comes in and Max gets up as she runs over to her son .

" Mom I am fine " he says

" I am so sorry " I say to Mrs Rogan

" I think we should leave "

As we are in my brothers car , Max's mom walks out .

" I am sorry that you had to see that " Lee says to her

She just shakes her head and then she looks at me and says

" Mia

I have a confession I ask you to come here because I was hoping that you and Max would get back together . I am sorry I just thought that he was so happy when he was with you . "

" Mrs. Rogan I don't know what to say . "

" It is ok " she says and walks back into her house .

Lee looks at me and says

" I knew that piece of shit . "

I interrupt him by saying

"You had no business hitting him , it is hard enough not to be with him , but you can't hurt him I am trying to get threw it but you can go hitting him " I cry

"Sorry how about this I will not but if you decide you want me to tell me and I will " my brother says

I laugh but then cry which it feels good like relief that my brother knows . So I just cry .!!!!!
