I have dinner perfectly peppered , I am just waiting on Mia to get here . I have to make it perfectly clear she can't sleep with other guys . I never thought she would have but I guess after I broke her heart she rebelled.
When she come in she has on a simple sun dress it is low cut and blue . Her hair is half up and half down . She looks beautiful and sweet really nice not at all like a girl who been sleeping around all last summer .
" I am so glad you are feeling better ." She says with concern in her voice
"Yes I was sore , but I am fully recovered now . " I say
I cooked chicken and dumplings and biscuits and fried pickles , I remember once she told me she liked fried pickles and I know she did I ate 2 and she ate the rest .
I pick up the dishes . And put them in the sink .
" I can wash them " she says
" No I got it ." I reply
" But it is only fair you cooked I will clean ." She says as she wraps her arm around my waist .
I jump back and the look on her face is shock and embarrassment all in one .
" Mia sit down I got this ." I demand
She does just that . I know I was a little harsh but I had to . I look at her sitting with her hands in her lap she looks so incenent . I wanted to cook for her because I love her I want her to remember I will always do things for her even though I am mad . I didn't plan on washing the dishes it just kind of happened . I know I am prolonging the airy I need to just talk to her about it but I don't know how to just bring it up .
Once the dishes are done I walk over to her she is sitting on the bed looking at her phone .
" Pier went to a Arrowsmith concert tonight ." She says
Sh**just whose name I needed to hear coming from her beautiful lips .
" Pier does a lot of things I don't know about ." I answer
She looks at me with confusion written on her face .
She stands up and puts her arms around me . And press her lips to mine and I don't want to pull back but I have to . I just pull back my head her arms are still around me .
" Do you have anything you want to tell me Mia .? I ask
" Yea I love you ." She answers
I take her small hand and move it from my neck . And then I start to walk around .
" You are acting strange .." she says and folds her arms
" Well I guess you are acting fake ." I yell
She raise her eyebrows still confused .
" What " she finally says
" I know I know all about it , how it happened last summer and I guess it slipped into this fall a bit but tell me you wasn't sleeping with them when we are together tell me it stopped before that ."
I yell I can hear the desperation in my voice . The desperation that she didn't sleep with them while we was together .
" What are you talking about ? Who ?" She says and she clearly getting upset . She now has her fist into a ball and her face is a shade of red .
" Don't act like that , you should have know I would find out and it is ok we can get past it if it was when we wasn't together . But Mia if you slept with them when we have been back together" . I yell and stop myself because I was about to say we was over , but I don't want that .
" I have never slept with anyone but you you jerk ." She yells
I am filled with relief but then what about the rumors .
" Mia I know I broke your heart last summer and I understand you was Lonely and confused."I say calmly
" What are you talking about yes I was broken hearted and lonely and confused over you but I never slept with anyone ." she says and tears are falling down
I turn around I can't look at her when she cries I will be like puty in her hands .
" Max who do you think I slept with ." She demands
I turn around and she is right in front of me with her face soaking wet and sad sad eyes .
" Baby I forgive you I just want you to understand this can't happen , I want you to only sleep with me . " I say
Her mouth flies open
"I know I am better than that geek jock wannabe Dexter ."
I know am better in bed than Pier girls have told me that ."I say
" eww " she says and then paces back and forth
" I never slept with either of them ." she screams I can tell she is getting really mad.
" Really you just all of a sudden became friends with Dexter and Pier came back in your life and forgave you quick it's because they was getting some off of you ." I yell
She slaps me , then jumps back and puts her hand over her mouth .
My face stings from her hard hit .
" They are my friends nothing more you are all I want ." She says with a shaky voice
" Then what about Brody " I ask
" I hooked up with him but that is all .We made out ." She says
The thought drives me crazy but I do believe that is all they did cuz that guy would be shouting it from the roof tops .
" Why do you think this ?" She asks and wipes her tears
" It is going around the school ." I state
She laughs and I don't understand why .
" Not all rumors are true Max come on you know me better than that ." She says
Sundenly I filled with guilt what if she didn't have sex with them .
" It is fine we can get threw it." I say
" no not if you think I am cheating ." She says
" I don't think you are cheating I know you could never want either of them when you could have me ." I say
I realize how very obnoxious it sounded when I see the look on her face .
" I didn't do it at all " she says
" Ok " I say and move over to her and rub her arm she turns into me and asks
" Who told you that ?"
" It don't matter " I answer
" Max who told you ?" She ask in a bossy voice
" Michelle " I answer and regret it as soon as I do .
She shoves me hard and screams
" Michelle Michelle "
" Do you not see she wants us broken up she played you and you let her ." She screams
Could she be right ?
It actually makes more sense then Mia sleeping with Dexter and Pier .
She take a plastic cup and throws it at me she misses me but it is enough to wake me up . She runs out , I follow her and catch up to her quickly and pull her by the arm and say
" Sorry "
She shoves me and says
" You are a stupid boy ." And then she pushes me and walks off.
I start to move but then she looks back and says
" Don't follow me "
I really think I should take that advice . She is too worked up she has to cool down . We will get threw this I keep telling myself .!!!!!
