I bring the sketches that Mr. Mathis asked me to . I lay them in his desk then hurry to leave I don't want to see him . I admire him but he been acting strange . Just as I am walking out he is walking in .

" Thanks Mia " he says

" Glad I can help ." I say

" You always do . " he says

" Let me repay you with diner ." He demands

" No thank you I have plans ." I say

" You always have plans." He says and seems like a big baby

" Yea I do see you" I say awkwardly

As I walk home I text Pier for the 15 th time , This time I write

( I understand you don't want to talk to me just please let me know you are back and safe .)

I see the bubbles appear . I get excited . He wrote back .

( I am in my apartment now just arrived but please stop texting I need space . )

I feel like he hates me . I want his friendship .

As I walk into my house my phone dings I excitedly grab it from my pocket thinking it is Pier . But instead it is a number I don't have in my contacts . The text says

( I really had a fun time last night )

The only person it could be is Brody . I don't know if I want to text him back or not I know I don't want a relationship with him . I was upfront about that , but I don't want to lead him on in any way .

( I thought you was enjoying yourself but you ain't answering me .) he texts

( How did you get my number ? ) I reply

( I have my ways , And I guess you know it is me so I am the only boy you made out with last night ) he texted

Wow he is brave . I don't know where he got this confidence from . Other than me make out with him last night I never lead him on but he is coming on strong .

He texts , he is so confident. When I get to my room I am surprised to see Liv sitting on my bed .

" There you are I looked for you for hours ." I say

" Yea my phone was out of battery . I was with Pier " she says

" you was how was he ?" I ask as put my purse on my desk .

Liv looks at me then I realize she don't know about the whole pier situation .

" I have to tell you something . " Liv says and she seems nervously

" Ok what is it ?" I ask and can't imagine what she has to say

" I hooked up with Pier ." She says

I am shocked , he was so mad ,

" I am sorry I know girl code you are not supposed to hook up with a friends ex . It just happened ." She says and cry's

" I dont mean to hurt you ." She adds

I sit down in the bed next to her , I put my hand on hers .

" I did not expect this but it is ok . If you are happy then I am happy for you . " I say and mean

I am surprised buy this whole thing . !!!!!!

I hit the baseball it goes far .

" You could do so much better ." My dad yells

After 2 hours of this him ridiculing my game . Me and my father go to eat . I am surprised when he asks

" How was it seeing her ?"

I know who he is talking about , how can I not . She is all I think about . Except last night and today I thought about how I hurt Pier . I feel the worst friend .

" I rather not dad ." I say

" I know it is hard but you are doing what a real man does you are so brave . You are putting her 1 st . That shows me you really love her ." He says

I put my sandwich down . And for a second I think maybe he is telling me I can be with her .

" You know you would hurt her . And mess that girl up . The best thing for both of you is for you to live your own lives apart ." He says

So I guess he was still telling me I shouldn't be with her , all the talk about putting her 1st made me think I was and good man . I was surprised at that talk anyway .

" Dad I just want what is best for her and you helped me see it is not me ." I say

" I am glad I can help . I love you son and want what is best for you always ." He says

" It just seems that I am not happy unless I am with her and whatever I will be Miserable for her if it means she will be happy I will gladly be miserable . " I say

" You just focus on your game and happiness will come . " he says

I hope he is right . I don't want to be unhappy but I don't want to ruin her happiness .

Some of my team mates walk in they walk over and invite me to a boys night . My father Incisionson me going . I wouldn't think nothing of it but we had plans to go back and play more ball . I am very surprised by him allowing me to go with my team mates !!!!

There is a knock on the door , I just want to sleep maybe I will wake up and the truth about Max and Mia won't be true . I get up and answer the door to Shyanne . I am surprised she is here .She has cookies that smell grand . She walks past me wearing a short red dress .

" Casey told me " she announces

I had to talk to someone , really Casey shouldn't have told her I know that she is his girlfriend , but this is my life .

" Yea I really don't want to talk about it ." I say"

" Well Casey got a earful ." She replys and hands me a cookie and it taste so good .

" I am going for a friend of mines sister birthday that why I am all dressed up " she says

I just nod with my mouth full of cookie .

She looks good but she always does wether she is dressed up or if she is casual .

" It was sweet of you to bring these by before you go out " I tell her

" I knew you was not the player type , you started all this because you was hurt . It makes sense now ." She says

So I guess Casey told her everything . I left out about me hooking up with Liv because I was so Angry about Max and Mia . Liv don't know the new me . We couldn't have a relationship even if we wanted to we are not living in the same place .

" You seem so lost ." Shyanne says

" What ?" I ask

" You shouldn't be alone right now ." She says then calls her friend and says she can't make it .

I don't know what to say . I am not 100 % sure what is going on .

She sits down next to me and grabs the remote and turns on the tv and the covers up in the throw blanket . She looks at me and says

" We don't have to talk about it , we will have a movie night if that is ok . " she says

" Yea it is fine " I answer her

She reaches the blanket on me now we are under the same blanket .

I am surprised by her actions she stayed with me when she could have went to a party . !!!!!!!!
