Chapter 3 (Pier) ( Moving On)

My phone rings as I walk up to my apartment , it is Max . I know he broke up with Mia . She told me I have been trying to forgive her and be her friend . I guess I can do that with Max .

" Hey " I answer

" Hey Pier how have you been . I just got a new phone that is why it took me so long to reach out." He says very quickly , maybe he is nervous .

I am still mad at him I know he went after Mia because she was mine . Well maybe he didn't but he could he have any girl he wanted but he went for her . He know how I felt . But I did bring this whole mess with Vicky into his life . So I guess I will give him a chance .

" I am good , how are you? " I ask just to be Polite. But I wasn't lieing I was good . I been hooking up a lot lately with different girls . I am trying to be friends with Mia . And I am excited about my art class and school starting up .

" I am good today was the 1 st day of school . " He says

" Oh yea . So how was it seeing her , it was the 1 st time since you broke up with her . I Say

He pause for a few minutes . I get it I realize I been there It is hard to see her every time is hard but the 1 st is really hard .

" Yea I seen her and talked to her for a min . " he answers as sounds sad .

" Yea I talked to her the other day we been talking and texting you know trying to be friends again ." I state

" oh you talk to each other ." He asks sounds even sadder

" Yep " I say

" That is good I am glad . She is good person and you are too . " He says

What he just says like a crazy man , I mean he broke up with her .

" Why did you break up with her . " I ask because he seems so sad

" You know me and she deserves better." He says

I may regret trying to give advice but I decide to .

" Max if you think you could change maybe you can and try to be with her ." I say

" No " he shouts " I mean I think she had moved on with someone anyway . He adds

She never mentioned anyone to me . My thoughts are dismissed when I see this blonde curly head girl that I slept with bring stuff into my apartment.

" Umm Max let me call you back ." I say and rush into my place that is trying to be taken away from me .

" excuses me Julie." I say

She turns around and says " My name is Joanne "

" Sorry " I say
That is low I slept with her several times . I should remember her name .

" Why is all this stuff in here ? " I ask

" Sweetie I am moving in here ." She say

Is she for real ?

" I never agreed to that ." I say

" I just thought you would want me to ." She says

" Joann I think you should leave ." I say and watch her leave .

I am glad where I am at right now I don't want no girlfriend and I sure don't want no girl moving in with me .!!!!!!
