Chapter 15 (Mia )(He Is Here)

I spin around on Dexter's bar stool . As he walks up in his Versace shirt he says

" Thanks Mia for your help setting up ."

" Anytime " I say and mean it .

" Here put my tennis shoes in your closet ." I demand and hand him my shoes .

I now have put on my high heels just didn't want my feet to hurt while I was helping set up .

I feel nervous and anxious thinking about Max going to be here if Presley is right and Max is just scared or something I can get to him I know I can .

" Do you think Max is coming?" I ask

" Mia I don't know you have ask me that several times ." Dexter complaints

" I know just how did he say it ? " I whine

" Look he said he was but I don't know . But really Mia you know I am your friend ." He says and looks deep in my eyes .

" Yes I know that ." I answer him

" The I am asking you to not do what you are planning to do ." He states

" But why ?" I ask with wonder

" I think he will embarrass you or hurt you . I am trying to protect you ." He says

" Thank you but trust me I got this ." I say and hug him .

Guest start to arrive and Dexter greets them like the gentleman he is . I text Pier . We just talk about random stuff I don't want to lose his friendship and we really are trying ."

Liv walks over to me in a pink dress she looks great .

" Hey Dexter told me about your plan ." She says

" That stitch " I say low

" Mia he needed my help thats why he told me ." She claims

" I am doing it but if it goes bad then at least I will know " I say

I walk to get a drink I think about what could happen he could turn me down or he could be with someone else or he could say he has feelings for me . Or then again he may not show . I get even more nervous because I need to know . Just as I take a sip of wine . Max Rogan walks In he has on jeans and a long sleeve blue shirt he is breathtaking . I need to wait a few mins just to get my courage up . I know it ain't much to go on but at least he is here . !!!!!!!!!!!
