Chapter 35 (It will work out )

I have called Max and asked him to meet me and I am going to see Mia later . I realize that I can forgive them both . I still find it hard to believe that I done the same thing to my friend Casey . I have very strong feelings for Shyanne, and I guess that is what Max was feeling for Mia . I always liked Mia , and I still care for her . But time has passed and I feel healed .

" Hey I am glad you called " Max says

I take in his appearance he has a black eye .

" what happened?" I ask

" Lee and I got into a fight " he answers

" This is about Mia " I say

" of course it is " I add

He just looks . And then he moves uncomfortable.

"He actually wants me to meet him later , I don't know if he wants to beat me up again or what , but I have find out . " he says

" What did you want to see me for ? " he asks

" I wanted to say I forgive you ." I tell him

" Thank you Pier , I am so glad . " he says and I can tell he means it .

" It is time to forgive and forget , and let's just say I actually know where you was coming from . " I say

His face looks confused .

" I know what it is like to like Mia and now I know what it is like to want your friends girlfriend ." I say

" So you are still hung up on Mia ?" He asks

" There's another girl who is my friends Casey 's girl and I am crazy about her ." I say

" I realize I have to use my words carefully here it is a very sticky subject. You know I knew it was wrong , but I could not stay away I fought it I am always fighting it . But I give  in a lot ." He says and admits

" Sorry " he adds

"  No me going threw this showed me I understand more now , I didn't mean.
To be but I am weak for Shyanne ." I say

" Sounds familiar" he says then he laughs

I don't know why he is laughing .Until he looks at me and says

" You know there was a cute girl who worked here I was trying to get to hook up up with you , but she left town , but I did it out of my want for Mia ." He says his eyes go sad

"You still like her ." I say

He just completely ignores me , but I know .

Later on I am over at Mia's  sitting in her den she is being her sweet self . So I finally tell her .

" Mia I forgive you , I know what happened was not planned and I would still like to be friends ."

" Oh I am so glad and I want us to be friends you are really important to me ." She says with a big bright smile .

We watch a movie , then I get up and put my coat on .

"So you are leaving tomorrow ?" She asks

" Yea " I answer

" When are you planning on seeing Liv ." She asks with her arms cross

I know I should , in the last few months I hooked up with lots of girls , but I kind of know Liv .

" Mia it was just a hook up ." I inform her

" Did you tell her you didn't want nothing more .?" She questions

" No but I didn't say it would be more ."  I say

She puts her hands on her hips .

" Can you just talk to her let her down easy ." She says 

I know she is right but it hard to let a girl know you don't want them .

So I did the right thing I went to see Liv I let her down easy . I told her she is great but this could never work she handle it well but she cried only a little and when I went to leave she says

"It will work out " !!!!!!

I am nervous about seeing Lee . He was wrong but I understand what I said to Mia made him mad . The crazy thing is that it's not true .

" I guess I left my mark on you " Lee says

He chose to meet at the mall I don't know why .

" Lee what did you want ."  I ask

" I am trying to understand all this .I knew you was a player but I seen you with her , you was different , But I heard what you said " he says

I say nothing I just look at him .

" That's why I beat you ,Mia was so mad at me ." He says

" Because she the sweetest person even though I F**ked up stuff she still don't want to hurt me ." I say

" You sound like a man who is still in love ." Lee points out

I freeze he may see threw me .

" What really Happened " he asks

" She is was and always will be better than me and I had to do what was best for her because I am a Piece of shit ." I say and hope he don't go any further into it .

" I can't argue there" Lee says and then crams his nuckles .

I can't take no more , I can tell he is already on to me I have to get away from him . So I get up to leave then Lee says

" Max it will work out " !!!!!!
