Chapter 28: One sided

I am so happy having Allison as my classmate. The mood is just so different when you know she is just around, sometimes I can even sit beside her. I've been doing great as well on recitations, hindi naman sa nagpa pakitang gilas but I am motivated and I don't wanna look like trash to her.

Everything is good pwera nalang sa minu minutong nakawan ng tingin ng dalawa. A sight for sore eyes.

It's lunch time and Allison is busy talking to one of our classmate, nandito lang ako sa may pintuan at hinihintay siya.

"Where's Allison?" I look at Asher who just came with kit and Enzo.

"May kausap lang. What's with that expression?" I asked. They look so serious, even Kit.

"Did she checked social media already?" Tanong naman ni Enzo.

"Walang signal dito. Why?"

Tumingin sa loob si Asher bago ako hilahin.

"Someone posted something bad about the band but mostly about her and people are agreeing. If you could pigilan mo muna siya kahit hanggang pag uwi lang. Sky is trying to delete accounts."

"Kaya niya?" Tumango ito. Well, he stays in front of the computer almost every hour of the day during vacation, it makes sense.

Maya maya lang ay lumabas na din si Allison.

"Let's have our lunch?"

Papunta na kami sa cafeteria, wala namang tigil sa pag daldal si kit kay Allison kaya hindi rin niya napapansin ang mga tumitingin sa kanya. Hindi ko pa rin alam kung ano yon but I think it's bad and I am not sure I would like to see it.

"Kit is extra talkative today, anong meron dito?" Nata-tawang tanong ni Allison bago muling mag daldalan ni Kit.

"What do you want to eat? My treat" Tanong ko nang Makahanap na kami ng upuan.

"Binibigyan din ako ng baon ng magulang ko, kala nyo kayo lang."

Kit and Enzo accompanied Allison since nag pumilit siya na siya ang bibili. Agad namang binigay sa akin ni Asher ang phone nya ng maka alis sila.

It is a video made by a famous Actress but also a singer. From what I know she is a singer pero mas kilala siya as an actress.

"The band has been gaining attention since their first day 1 right? I didn't put too much attention on them since I am the type of person who supports those who can sail for a long time. My friends are telling me that the guys are good looking but is that enough to support them? They are a band not a group of models."

"Does she think her attention means a lot?" Inis na komento ko.

"Sabi nila she put people on spotlight, artist look high on her." Sagot ni Asher. Is she some kind of god for them? It's their potential not her, masyado nilang pinapalaki ang ulo nito.

"I asked my friend if they know their personality but all they can say is what they do in the band, they're not close to people. I thought they dive too soon into the industry, they don't know what to do and I got curious when they're getting bigger, they're gaining fans. I was like ''Do people really care about looks and not talent?"

We're not all about looks, that's not how we want to be recognized and it's our music that we want to connect with people.

"So I watched them, there I got why. The band presents themselves as mysterious and that helps people to wonder and keep on wanting to know more from them. Then the concert at one of the schools happened. The lineup was good, you can tell that the band is doing well since all the bands that we're invited are actually big. The passion is there, the talent and their presence. The band really has potential but the thing is there is someone that is stopping them and sadly it's their vocalist. Which is sad because she is the voice of their songs. Yes she's beautiful and yes she can sing, but her voice is too plain. She isn't a strong character either. She can work with her character but it will be hard to work on vocals especially if she dive too soon. Her bandmates are on time but it's too soon for her. The boys can really climb but the girl is stopping them in reaching the success they can have."

There are still remaining minutes pero tinigil ko na sa inis. Naiyukom ko ang kamao ko, call me gay but i can punch someone now, kahit na babae pa yan.

"Imagine the effect of this on Allison, tangina."

Allison is the core reason why we're here, doing this. Kaya hindi ko mapigilang magalit sa sinabi niyang si Allison ang hadlang. She is our wing, she lift us up when we feel like giving up, nakaka gago.

"Ang kapal ng mukha niyang magsalita. She is just a singer turned actress because she didn't earn big on singing." Asher chuckled on what I said.

"Uso talaga sayo yung equality no? The way you get mad to boys is how you do to girls. except nalang kay Allison. With her, you're a different person." I won't deny that, alam ko sa sarili ko yon.

Sometimes pumapasok sa utak ko na sa harapan yata ni Allison, I am faking it pero at the end of the day marerealize ko na lang bigla na oo nga pala, mahal na mahal ko nga pala and this is what I become because of my love for her.

Ilang minuto pa ay bumalik na rin sila na dala dala ang mga pagkain namin. As usual she's eating less. Nasa isang tray ang pagkain naming dalawa, she only bought sandwich, strawberry chocolate shake and a water.

Umakto akong masakit ang tiyan ko, agad naman siyang napatingin sa akin.

"Are you okay?" She asked. Tinignan ko siya, she's worried. Oh god, I'm sorry i just want her to eat. Baka hindi siya makakain ng maayos kapag nalaman niya ang kumakalat ngayon sa social media.

"Natatae ka ba?" Tanong naman ni Kit na siyang dahilan nang pag palo ni Asher sa bibig niya.

"Mahiya ka naman sa mga kumakain ang kalat ng bibig mo."

"Gusto mong samahan kita sa clinic?" Nag a alalang tanong ni Allison.

"Kaya ko naman but i don't think i can eat." Pagsisinungaling ko.

Napakunot naman siya ng noo, "What? baka gutom ka lang try mong kumain."

"Seryoso Allison, please eat it for me, sayang." Sabay sabay na yumuko si kit, asher at Enzo, nagpipigil ng tawa. "Wala ka namang biniling rice e."

Magsasalita pa sana si Allison ng may tumawag sa pangalan niya.

Her expression quickly changed when she saw who it was. She is so fond of him and you can see it through her eyes. She mirrors me when i am looking at her, ang kaibahan lang ay sa iba siya nakatingin.

"Can I borrow her?" Lucas asked, looking at me, sa akin lang.

Hindi ako sumagot. Inalis ko ang tingin ko sa kanila hanggang sa makaalis sila. Wala nang nag salita sa amin. Nang matapos silang kumain ay napatingin ako sa oras, walang nagalaw sa pagkain sa tabi ko kung saan nakaupo si allison and i don't think she will still comeback.

"Hintayin niyo ako." I started eating, binuksan ko na rin ang sandwich sabay inom ng shake niya.

"Akala ko bang masakit ang tiyan mo?" Tanong ni Enzo.

"I just want her to eat, baka kasi hindi na naman siya kumain nang maayos kapag napanood niya yung video, you know how problems affects her." I said while eating.

"Sabi ko na nga ba hindi totoo e. Hindi ka nag re-react ng ganyan kahit gaano kasakit." kit said na may nakakloko pa na ngiti

"Oo nga naalala ko tuloy nung nakipag compete siya sa basketball. Akala ko sa sobrang pagod mag buhat ng team nagpa bangko na ngayon pala malapit nang maputulan ng paa si gago."

I still remember that clearly. Allison was the one who came to me. Pangit ang pagbagsak ko pero umupo lang ako. I don't know what's the right thing to say basta ang alam ko lang gusto ko ng ma mimilipit sa sakit. Everyone are so focus on the game and they didn't seem to notice that I am having a hard time. Well, i can't blame them, naka upo lang ako, walang ginagawa. Then there came Allison who asked me if I was fine. I said I was, but she wasn't convinced, nang galawin niya ng bahagya ay nag react ako, that's the time she asked someone to perform first aid, they brought me to the clinic right after.

Nang mapunta ulit ang atensyon ko ang pagkain ay naaalala ko ang pag alis na naman ni Allison kasama ni Lucas.

"Fuck it!"

I want her so bad and it fucking hurts.
