Chapter 10: Sneak In

I am at our house now. My parents went home the same day I was at Lucas' place and since then hindi pa kami nag kita ulit.

Everyone are busy at halata sa mukha nila ang kaba. In this house, one mistake then you're doomed. They love seeing everyone scared of their presence, they love the power. They love that they control people.

I was about to sleep when I heard a knock from my sliding door. Who the hell is on my balcony? Tatawag na sana ako ng mga guard nang biglang nag ring ang phone ko, It's Lucas.

I am weighing what's more important, my life or lucas. But not even a minute I chose Lucas, never mind about who ever is on my balcony.

"hey"

(open the door,)

"what?" nag tatakang tanong ko.

(Where are you?) he sounds drunk.

"Nasa bahay namin ako." sagot ko.

(Where exactly are you? At this moment?)

"Nasa kwarto ako."

(then open this damn glass, I wanna see you so bad.)

Hindi ko alam kung saan ako mas kinabahan. Is it the fact that he is the one on my balcony, or the thought I had a while ago that a thief is about to enter through my room.

I didn't mind opening the light. Tanging ang lamp shade lang na nagbibigay ng ilaw sa konting parte ng kwarto ko ang naka bukas, tama lang para makita ko ang daan.

Kinakabahan kong hinawi ang kurtina na nakatakip sa pintuan ng kwarto ko. And when I was able to see his face, kumpirmadong lasing nga siya.

Maliwanag ko siyang nakikita dahil bukas ang ilaw sa labas. His hair is messy yet it didn't make him look ugly. I guess most of the girls would agree that guys look better on their undone hair. He is wearing a black shirt which became my favourite color on him.

Nag aalangan pa ako kung bubuksan ko ba, I've been on a house with him alone and it was suffocating, hindi ko alam kung ano ang mafefeel ko kapag kasama ko pa siya sa kwarto ng kami lang pero nang makita ko ang isa sa mga guard sa baba ay agad ko na itong binuksan.

"I thought you're just going to stand there looking at me until I get caught,"

And that's the question, how did he enter and climb up here without getting caught?

"Paano ka naka punta dito?" I asked.

Ngumiti siya. "Simple, I missed you so much that I was able to do even the impossible." he said.

I've been seeing him drunk but not this drunk. He seems out of his mind. Siguradong hindi na niya alam ang ginagawa niya. Pulang pula din ang mga mata niya.

"Umuwi ka na, gabi na." pero imbis na sumunod siya ay lumapit pa siya sa akin. Parehas kaming naka tayo pero mukhang napako yata ako sa kinatatayuan ko at hindi na makagalaw. Malayo pa ang agwat namin sa isa't isa pero sa paraan nang pag tingin niya ay hindi ako makahinga.
