Chapter 60: Closure

Charles' P.O.V.
I don't know what is her problem. Nakita na niyang he cheated on her but she's still giving him a chance? Why?

"I don't know why am I like this. But I guess I just love him so much.", she sobbed.

We're currently at her car, speeding all through the way to Angelie's house. Syempre trying hard ako na i-comfort siya as if it would work. The stupid things you do to help stupid people. Pfft.

"If you love him so much, why don't you patch things up with him? Bakit di ka makipagbalikan?", mungkahi ko that made her look at me.

"I....I don't know. Everytime I see him, I always see this crazy mixture of his good side and bad side. I see the face of the person who comforted and supported, and a face of a cheater.", she sniffed while wiping her tears.

"Well....why don't you talk to him? Bakit siya nag-cheat in the first place?", I said as I pat her back.

"Di ko alam. I don't trust him. I even think that maybe iniiyakan ko yung taong hindi na nag-eexist.", she sighed then smiled. She smiled as if may naaalala siya.

I glanced out the window and her situation made me think. Siguro lahat ng payo ko, maaapply ko din sa sarili kong sitwasyon. I mean, Maria really hurt me. Siguro balewala lang talaga ako sa kaniya. Ako 'tong umasa na magugustuhan niya talaga ako pero hindi naman talaga. I was a fool to believe that someone would love me.

After a few minutes, nadating na namin ang bahay ni Angelie. Binuksan ko ang pinto at inalalayan siya pababa.

"Ikaw na bahala diyan.", utos ko kay Angelie.

"Where are you going?", tanong sa 'kin ni Sophia.

"Um, home?", I shrugged.

"No. You're coming with me. Please?", she begged while staring at my eyes.

My personal plans vanished as I roll my eyes and agreed.

"Why am I even here? This is girls' talk.", I said as we make our way to Angelie's house.

"You're one of the girls na.", she teased.

"Atleast make me drunk while I deal with your....", I stopped to think of any proper euphemism but I can't seem to think of any as of the moment. "...relationship problems.", I stuttered.

"Mayroon kaming white wine, is that ok?", Angelie offered.

"That's more than ok, thanks."

We entered her room and the bitch started talking. I didn't paid any attention. I just nodded and took a sip of the white wine. Wala akong ibang tinignan kung hindi ang mga bula mula sa iniinom ko. I liked the smell of it. As she cried, I'm out here sitting and getting drunk.

Sophia's P.O.V.
"So what do you think? Makikipagkita pa kaya ako kay Derick?", I asked Angelie.

"Girl, you need closure. Kailangan mo sabihin lahat na nasaktan ka at ang lahat-lahat. Sabihin mo na you're really trying to move-on and everything and that communicating with him is just a big burden.", she answered.

"How about you Charles?", I turned to him.

He looked at me with a confused stare. His cheeks are red. He looked at the bottle of wine before looking at Angelie.

"Ay....haha. S-sorry naubos ko.", he scratched his head while handing the bottle to Angelie.

I grinned at Angelie before even saying a word. Angelie giggled.

"Charles, lasing ka na ba?", I asked as I giggle.

"Nope.", he proudly smiled.

We laughed at him. He look at us with a confused smile.
