Today was the day.
The White Coat Ceremony.
The day that Noah and I officially become doctors of dental surgery.
The ceremony was at 12 and we had to be there at 11.
This morning I woke up and immediately got ready.
Noah was supposed to meet me here at 10:45 and we were supposed to drive over to the auditorium that was on the other side of campus.
Since there was so many students graduating this year, we were only allowed two tickets.
Noah and I were both inviting our parents.
So I guess you could basically say today is the day I meet his parents for the first time.
I was so exciting to be graduating.
So excited to get out of the dental academy and away from Dr. Clemens, even though he was going to be graduating his dental students.
I got ready so quickly that I had so much time left before Noah showed up so I went to go to get coffee at the local Starbucks.
I'm sure I'll look weird for wearing a fancy dress in a college Starbucks, but I don't care.
I'll never forget when I was running late and got Starbucks and Dr. Clemens scolded me for drinking coffee. I can't wait to never see that man again.
I'll also never forget when Noah got a coffee at this Starbucks and this girl tried to win him over and he ended up throwing his coffee away.
He will always and forever be mine.
I got my coffee and headed back to my apartment making sure I got everything that I needed and saw the text from Noah that he was here.
I grabbed my stuff and went out to his car, but instead of going to the passenger side, I went to the drivers side and made him roll down the window so I could give him a good morning kiss.
"Good morning." He said when we broke our kiss apart and I went into the passenger side of his vehicle.
The auditorium was pretty busy for it being an hour before the ceremony.
We got to where we needed to go, I texted my parents making sure that they knew where they needed to go.
When we got into the halls of the auditorium they had us all line up in order and we were given our white coats by our professors, so Dr. Clemens was walking down our line, handing us our white coats and showing us how to hold them as we entered the auditorium.
Dr. Clemens was too busy handing out white coats to pay attention to any of his students.
I got a text from my parents saying they found their seat, and a few minutes later Noah got a text from his parents saying they were seated, too.
I don't understand how they organized our lines. It was in some weird pattern. Noah got called long before I did, and put into the line at some point.
I was stuck in between two random college students that I didn't know.
We all held our white coats the same way and the line started to move.
