Dr. Clemens just gave us a packet of Dental procedures, saying that we needed to know them and just let us study and do whatever.

Today seemed to be an off day for him, so most people just ended up sleeping in class.

Except for me, I texted Noah at least 4 different times, asking if he was okay and where he was at.

But after getting no response after 10 minutes, I went to studying to hopefully occupy my mind.

Which it did, considering that Dr. Clemens dismissed the class after 45 minutes.

The Chief and I waited for everybody, including Dr. Clemens to leave, before we walked out the doors.

"So, Willow. I know you seemed pretty uneasy in there, and this isn't going to help you anymore. But since you are already out of the hospital today, I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to go to Dr. Winters today." The Chief said as we began to walk towards a random parking lot.

Of course, he has to pull this crap on me.

But I mean, I knew I wasn't going to make the appointment.

And at least it's not an appointment in the hospital.

We reached the parking lot and I saw a familiar brunette sitting on a bench nearby and talking on their phone.

The brunette looked over and I immediately recognize Dr. Winters as he saw that we were standing next to the bench.

He ended his call and stood up, walking towards us.

"Hey Willow and Dr. Williamson."

The Chief and Dr. Winters shook hands and I just stood there dumbfounded.

I really don't want my braces to get tightened, but I don't wanna get yelled at by my uncle or by anybody else.

"I'll bring her back in an hour. I called a friend and we're using his office today, instead of going all the way down to her uncle's office." Dr. Winters said to the Chief, completely ignoring my presence.

The Chief just agreed, said bye, and began to walk away.

Dr. Winters smiled at me with his super straight and shiny pearly whites, and then unlocked his car so we could go.

The ride in his white BMW was only 10 minutes before we pulled up to a light blue building, that read North End Orthodontics.

The office was technically far enough from the university to not be apart of it, but it was barely outside of its limits. It was far enough to be a family orthodontics office and not the uni's office.

We got off the car and Dr. Winters went through a bunch of different keys before he found the one to unlock the office.

"Go through the door to the left and sit in the first chair."

I did as he said and went through the door, seeing 9 dental chairs lined up in a row. They weren't private at all, they were just open. Like they were just lined up right next to the other, with a little bit of room in between. All the chair were black and gold accented, and the room was covered in random gold decorations.

I slowly sat down in the first chair and took out my phone, seeing nothing from Noah.

This is going to be real fun, all by myself.
