"Ah, the famous Noah. How's the hand?"
Of course, it had to be freaking Brian.
I just want to go get food and see my Willow and fix this tremor thing and pass my dental exam and for everything to be okay, but I guess not.
"My hand is great, no thanks to you." I retorted back as I turned around and began to walk the other way.
"You know you might wanna get this tremor thing figured out before it causes you to fail and ruin your whole future." Brian said, causing me to walk faster to find another way out of the hospital.
He's just trying to get a rise out of me.
Maybe he wants another fight, but I am not going to fight that dipstick again.
"Willow won't want you if your future is ruined because of my handy work that I did to your hand." Brian retorted before I was far enough down a hallway that I couldn't hear anything else he could mock towards me.
I was walking down random hallways hoping to make a circle and come back out to an exit.
I was completely lost and the signs were no help before I heard someone call out my name.
I turned around and was greeted by Dr. Sam, could this day really get any worse.
But I really needed to get out of the hospital and back to my Willow.
"Is everything okay?" Dr. Sam asked before I even got the chance to speak up.
"Yeah, can you just help me find the exit?" I asked irritated, desperate enough to actually ask him for help.
"Makes sense." He mumbled.
"What'd you just say?!?"
"Oh, uhm, nothing. It's just, when I first met Willow, she got lost too and asked for directions. Just follow me." Dr. Sam with a slight chuckle.
I reluctantly followed him throughout the hospital, him glancing back at me a few times to make sure I'm still following him.
Once we got to the exit, I mumbled out a quick thanks before leaving without hearing if Dr. Sam said anything.
I quickly ran to the university's smoothie shop and got the largest strawberry banana lemonade smoothie they could make, knowing that was Willow's fave and just getting me a simple berry energy boost, needing the extra energy to be able to keep up with Willow, just in case she needs me there.
By the time I got back to Willow's apartment, she was already asleep on her couch.
She shouldn't have fallen asleep with her gauze in, but I doubt her gauze was her biggest worry.
I put Willow's smoothie in the fridge, and set mine down on the counter before trying to carefully take out Willow's gauze without waking her up.
I successfully got one out before she shifted and moved.
I thought I woke her up.
I moved to take another one out before I felt her whole body tense and immediately wake up.
Her gorgeous eyes looking back at me, although bloodshot from just waking up.
"Hey babe, I'm just taking your gauze out, you can go back to sleep." I whispered to her.
"Come lay with me." She said dragging me towards her.
I lost my balanced and basically fell on top of her on the couch.
But she didn't have any reaction other than coming closer to me and snuggling up along my chest.
She opened her mouth, realizing that I accidentally woke her up to take out her gauze, just in case so she doesn't choke on them.
I quickly took out her final gauze and fell asleep with her right by my side.
