Willow's POV

MEANWHILE...

I was woken by my very obnoxious alarm on phone.

I sat up easily to turn it off but was confused as to why I didn't feel my arm get held back. 

I looked down to my arm to notice my IV was gone and the only think I was hooked up to was the heart monitor.

Reaching across the bed, freely towards the night stand, I reached my phone to finally turn the pesky alarm off.

I didn't get any good morning text from Noah, which was weird of him, maybe he was running late and forgot. 

I also realized today was Friday, the first day that I get to go to my lectures, with the Chief.

But when I get to Clemens lecture though, I'll get to see Noah.

I cannot wait to see Noah again in a class setting, it'll feel like I'm normal and not fighting cancer right now.

I guess I was so caught up in daydreaming about seeing Noah, normally, I never noticed the Chief walk into my room.

As I looked up I saw he was holding my portable heart monitor.

"Good morning, let's get you hooked up so you can change and then we can go. I know you wanna be first there, last to leave." The Chief said as he walked towards all the monitors.

He easily switched me to the portable heart monitor and made sure his app was working and then left the room so I could change.

I had no idea what I was going to wear. However, since I was trying to "act normal", I went with my basic sweatpants, converses, and simply southern shirt to replicate my quick and easy facade from before all of this happened.

I put my heart monitor in my backpack and left my room, immediately seeing the Chief at the nurses station, working on something,

I walked up right next to him, just waiting for him to notice my presence.

About 5 seconds into me just standing there, he finished up the chart he was filling out and looked at me.

"Let's get this show on the road."
