The past two weeks have been the same boring thing.
I would wake up, go to chemo, take a nap after chemo and wait for the effects to take on my body.
Once I was stable and not feeling terrible, I would eat something and start to study for my dental exam which was a month and a half away now.
Noah would come and sit with me every single night, which I appreciated so much. We would quiz each other, he would update me on what happened in Clemens' lecture, and we would just spend as much time together as we could. I can't even imagine the toll that this is taking on Noah.
And that Sydney girl is still the teacher's pet but I think she's warmed up to me.
My hair has started to fall out and I try my hardest not to cry every single day because of this disease that wants to take over my life.
I think today was Thursday, it was just another one of those terrible, boring days.
I was just waking up and tried my hardest to mentally prepare myself for chemo.
Since I was basically staying at the hospital, Noah brought me a bunch of my clothes, so I threw on a pair of my sweatpants and a Panic! tour shirt before the Chief and Dr. Carraway had walked into my room.
"Good morning, Willow. Since you're body has somewhat adjusted to chemo, we have an idea that we want to try and it might just cheer you up." Dr. Carraway greeted in a super chipper voice.
"Would you feel up to going to your classes on Friday, with me of course, in case something happens." The Chief suggested to me, as so many different scenarios and questions ran through my mind.
What if something happens.
What are my professors gonna think.
Will any of the students think anything about me being some cancer girl in their class.
What will Clemens think.
Will he try and pull anything.
I don't know if I'm ready to be seen in public, but I really wanna get outside and feel independent for once.
"Also, we received an email from a Dr. Winters, saying that he needed to know an available opportunity so that he can attend to your braces." The Chief added, disrupting my thinking.
"Yes, to my classes, but only if we can sit in the very back and get there first and leave last. And never to Dr. Winters." I answered to the Chief who looked at Dr. Carraway.
"We'll respond back to your professors about tomorrow and talk to you later about Dr. Winters." The Chief said, leaving and Dr. Carraway got a wheel chair.
I easily got into the wheel chair thinking I was just going to chemo, but Dr. Carraway went straight for the elevator.
I waited until we got inside the elevator to give her a puzzled look.
"We're going to get updated scans." She said, so simply.
Great, I get to see Bryan and his "empathetic" looks again.
