I woke up to someone playing with my hair and slightly stroking my face.

I opened my eyes and saw Noah's sparkling eyes looking back down at me.

"Well hello there, sleepy head." He said as I went to go sit up and realize that I was in my room at my apartment.

"How about you lay back down so I can switch out your gauze." Noah suggested as I totally forgot about my wisdom teeth.

I must've had a shocked expression, since Noah chuckled,

"You forgot didn't you." He said as I moved to lay my head down on his crossed legs.

I thought back to getting my wisdom teeth removed.

Why don't I remember getting here.

How did I even get here.

The last thing I remember was...

...Noah leaving me, and then I passed out from pain and being overwhelmed.

Noah turned on his phone flashlight and took out the gauze, but I stopped him before he put new gauze back in.

"Why'd your leave?" I asked him, pain soaring through my mouth as I talked.

Noah out his phone down and just looked at my concerned and hurt expression before he looked away.

"Why'd you leave me?" I repeated, pain still very present in my mouth.

I sat up and stared at him until I got my answer.

When he looked back at me, he had tears in his eyes.

I've never seen Noah cry.

This is new....

"I couldn't see you in pain....After everything with anesthesia and needles that Dr. Clemens did to me. I can't handle seeing the one person that I love with all my heart, in the same pain. I really didn't want to leave you but I couldn't break down right in front of you, it would've made it so worse for both of us. I'm so sorry." Noah pleaded as his glassy eyes tried to hold back the tears that were brimming near the edge.

I never thought how much it would affect Noah.

I still can't believe he just got up and left, but I guess it makes sense. 

"I really am sorry, Willow. I never meant for this to happen." He pleaded as I wanted to forgive him right then and there.

"It's okay-" "I appreciate your apology, but you really need to stop talking." Noah interrupted me with a small smile.

"I didn't mean to shut you up, but you just had your wisdom teeth removed. Relax, I'm here and I'm sorry for leaving you. I love you." Noah said before giving me a quick peck on my lips.

"Now can I pretty please help you out and put new gauze back in, babe?" Noah asked me as I laid back down in Noah's lap.

Noah snapped on a pair of gloves and grabbed gauze before handing me his phone so I could hold the flashlight.

Noah went to carefully insert gauze back into my mouth.

But, Noah's hand just start to shake out of nowhere.

He immediately dropped the gauze out of his hand and onto my bed.

He gripped his hand and looked at it with shock.

"What the hell?"
