Noah's POV

I heard muffled beeping that woke me up from my nap.

I have no idea what the beeping was, but it was so annoying.

The beeping reminds me of waking up in Dr. Clemens' office from anesthesia, bringing me back to traumatic events.

I opened my eyes, hoping that I was not in Dr. Clemens' office, but instead I saw a very bright white room.

I realized I was in a bed and I looked to the right and saw all the pesky beeping machines.

How did I end up in a hospital.

There was nobody else in the room, but me.

I saw my hand was in a deep cast off to the side, away from my body.

My other arm had an IV and my medical bracelet on it.

I tried searching for a nurse's call button, only to see a nurse walk into my room.

"Oh, good. You're awake." The nurse said as they walked right back out of my room.

What the heck.

Within 15 seconds later, the nurse returned, coming over and checking my vitals.

"Dr. Mullins will be with you shortly." The nurse said as they left.

Who the heck is Dr. Mullins.

Pretty soon, I started to gain an ache in my hand and I couldn't move it at all.

My hand really started to hurt and I couldn't do anything about it.

I didn't know what to do about it.

I began to look for the nurse's button, lifting up the blanket, searching on the side of the bed, and trying my hardest not to move my hand too much.

I was so caught up in trying to find the remote, that I didn't even realize that somebody walked into my room.

"Do you need any help, Mr. Grey?"

I immediately stopped what I was doing to look up at the source of the voice, which was some tall and muscular brunette wearing seafoam scrubs.

"Um, I just trying to figure out how to get somebody or a nurse to help me get pain meds. My hand is really killing me." I almost pleaded to this random guy in scrubs.

"Hello, I am Dr. Nathaniel Mullins, Head of orthopedics. And well that's because you got into a pretty serious fight. Whoever you got into fight with knew how to screw it up pretty good. During surgery, I tried my best to fully repair it, but we'll have to wait around 6 hours for when I re-wrap it, so we can see the improvement. And of course, you are going to need physical therapy to be able fully regain all control of your hand for you to continue your career path." Dr. Mullins said as he injected something into my IV.

"That should help, I'll be back to check on you when I do rounds. If you need anything page me, or press the nurse's button, which is on that end table next to you. And finally, don't mess with your hand more. Take a nap, and let it heal." Dr. Mullins said, before he just gets up and just walks out of my room.

I was slowly starting to fall asleep, but I feel like I'm missing something or forgetting something.

I just can't remember what it is, but my mind won't stop nagging me about it.

I just try to push past the thoughts, so I can go to sleep.

My eyes close, and I almost fully asleep.

But out of nowhere, I remember and jerk awake, sitting almost straight up.

Willow.
