"Uh, I guess so." Willow said, shifting in the chair showing that she was starting to feel super uncomfortable.
I moved out of the way and let Dr. Clemens look.
He kept his distance but was still looking inside Willow's mouth.
She tried not to move, she just closed her eyes, and laid there still.
"Excellent stitches. It's coming along nicely." Dr. Clemens spoke up before returning to his seat in the corner.
"Alright, Ms. Samuels, the drill will be a little noisy, but it shouldn't hurt." I explained to Willow, even though she already knew, but I had to "inform the patient".
I went to reach over and grab the drill, seeing my shake for second completely forgetting that I let my muscles relax.
I tightened my muscles again and quickly grabbed the drill, hoping neither person saw me.
Willow stiffened when she heard the drill but a lightly stroked her arm before I used both hands to drill out her cavity.
Willow was somewhat uneasy but seemed to handle everything well.
She kept her eyes closed the whole time until she knew when I got done setting her cavity, she opened them.
"And I'm just going to do a cleaning, and then we'll be all done." I said, as Willow focused her eyes on my emerald orbs.
I think the cleaning was the least of her worries, considering she kept eye contact with me the whole time and didn't dare close her eyes.
I was trying to focus but her bright orbs kept on distracting me.
She was making it very difficult to concentrate and I had to be super professional this whole time, and she was making that difficult too.
As I went to go clean everything up, I winked at her seeing a slight smirk from her while I lifted the chair up.
"And you're all done." I said, with a smile, quickly glancing over at Dr. Clemens who was walking over.
"I know I said I wasn't going to give feedback but oh well. First, Ms. Samuels I must say you did well in controlling your fear. However, you can improve on it, but nonetheless it's a vast improvement." He said, looking towards Willow who just gave him a soft smile and looked down at her feet on the chair.
"Second, Mr. Gray, if you don't get that hand of yours fixed, I don't know what I'm going to do." He said, as Willow looked at me confused, and then slightly upset.
"I promise it's just sleep deprivation, it'll be gone in a week." I said, quickly assuring him, so he can just dismiss it.
"Alright, move along now. I didn't say anything." Dr. Clemens said before walking towards the door and ushering us out.
Willow and I walked out of the clinic and towards the hospital, I know she wanted to see how the Chief was.
I stopped her when we were right outside of the doors of the hospital.
"Hey babe." I said, turning her around to face me.
"You did great. I'm so proud of you." I said, pulling her close and giving her a slight peck.
"You did great, too. But.....if your hand doesn't get better in a week, we're coming back here." She said, to the best of her ability considering she was still slightly numb, but I could understand what she was saying.
Willow gave me a slight mocking smirk and grabbed my hand, pulling me with her as she walked into the hospital.
