Chief's POV

Noah's surgery appeared to be successful, but we're going to have to wait until he's awake.

We tried to save his hand, we really did, but whoever he got into a fight with, must've seem to know some  medical information since they knew exactly where it would be difficult to fully save a hand, but I trust that my head of orthopedics would be able to save Noah's future.

I let Dr. Ranson take Noah to a room while I went back to my office to check in with my assistant.

When will Willow find out.

I can't tell her though, then I will break HIPPA.

But it's her boyfriend.

She's gonna find out sooner or later.

I'll wait until Noah wakes up, for anything to happen.

I was so ready to just take a nap.

As I approached my assistant, they were swamped with paperwork, as they are everyday.

"Oh, Chief. Willow was looking for you, I believe she went back to her room. Your dentist called you, along with the dental academy. And you have three other voicemails to answer." My assistant said as they almost immediately went back to paperwork.

I went to go inside my office ready to just take a break, until my pager went off.

I slowly reached my pager from my side seeing,

911 to the ER.

Well, my four-second break was good while it lasted.

I ran down to the ER, trying to find out who paged me.

I looked around the trauma beds until I went into Trauma 1, seeing Willow, unconscious with random nurses surrounding her.

First Noah, now Willow.

"What happened?" I asked when I entered the room, everybody turning to me.

"She just randomly collapsed in the cancer wing. If I knew she was a patient, I would've gone to her sooner." Some random younger kid said.

"And who are you?" I asked the random young kid.

"Dr. Samson Reynolds, the new Oncology Resident." He says confidently.

"Well, here's your introduction to oncology's most popular patient, Willow Samuels, a dental student for the university." I said, as I went over to Willow's side to check her vitals.

Well I tried to go over to check her vitals, within a step away from her, all of her monitors went off.

"Push epi! Charge the paddles to 200!" I yelled as the nurses removed anything in my way and prepared the paddles.

She just had surgery for her heart, what is happening.

"Clear!" I yelled, waiting for everyone to remove their hands from Willow, and then sending shocks to her heart.

Nothing happened, her heart rate didn't change.

"Charge to 300."

The nurse did so in five seconds.

"Clear!" I yelled, seeing the slightest bit of movement in her monitor, a heart rate, a weak one, but still a heart rate.

"Page Dr. Ranson 911 to OR 3. Tell OR 3, we're headed up there. Come on! Quickly! Let's move!!"

Come on Willow, don't fail on me now.
