As soon as the Chief said that he trusted me, he completely agreed to the appointment.
Although I am now much more anxious for the appointment.
I mean, I was already anxious to begin with, but now that it's the Chief, I can't imagine.
Noah and I were walking towards the exit of the hospital, while I was contacting my uncle to see if we could stop by his office and borrow an exam room for 15 minutes.
I was staring so intently on my phone that I would've bumped into somebody if Noah hadn't pulled me back.
The person that I about bumped into, tripped over their own feet and were sent flying towards the floor.
They quickly recovered themselves and gathered their belongings.
"Quick reflexes there, man." The random person said as they faced our direction.
It was then that I realized who I almost bumped into,
Dr. Samson freaking Reynolds, "oncologist resident"
"Oh. Willow, it's you. How, uh, how are you feeling?" He asked me as Noah just gave him a disgusted look.
"I'm fine. Thanks for asking." I simply, but politely answered back.
"That's, um, thas -that's good." He asked as he seemed to get more and more nervous under Noah's glare.
"Well bye." Noah quickly said as he grabbed me and I had a millisecond to wave bye before we were way past him.
As soon as we were far enough away from him and out of the hospital, Noah stopped and faced me.
I didn't know why he was just staring at me and why we were stopped on some sidewalk.
I was about to step out towards Noah's car that was parked by the dental academy, but Noah stopped me and looked at me before I felt our lips make connect.
We kissed for a few seconds and just enjoyed being in each other's presence, not realizing that we were actually blocking the pathway and being in everyone's way.
He slowly pulled away, and I saw a sparkle in his eyes.
"I just wanted to you to know that I love you." He nervously said as he looked between our intertwined hands and my eyes.
"I know. Now come on, or we'll be late for an appointment that we don't actually have." I teased before giving him a quick peck on the lips and running ahead of him.
