In the middle of my psychology class, my phone vibrated in my pocket, disrupting me from focusing on the lecture. I'll just have to check when class ends because I'm not getting in trouble.

My psychology professor ends the class by having us sign up for a time for us to get a MRI, brain scan, at our university's hospital so that we can research and analyze our brain.

I picked 12:15 today because that's 15 minutes after this class and I'll be close to the hospital for my radiology class, where I can ask my radiology professor, Dr. Marshall, about them.

Our professor dismisses us and I head straight to the hospital, wanting to get my scans before I'm late to radiology class.

Thankfully, my professor already sent the report sign up sheet to the hospital and I was able to get a medical intern to help me check-in because I've never been to this hospital before, which is disappointing because I literally live 10 minutes away from it and walk past it everyday.

I sit in the waiting room of the radiology suite, constantly checking the time and making sure I won't be late to radiology class.

If it's 12:10 and I get seen in the next 5 minutes, and MRIs take around 30ish minutes, I'll have 15 minutes to make it to my radiology class by 1 pm, if everything good according to schedule. I think until I hear my name get called by another intern, who doesn't seem to care about anything at all.

I stand up and follow the intern to a room with a large MRI machine, with a bed attached to it, in the middle of the room.

The intern leaves and I just stand there awkwardly, why the hell did they just leave.

I awkwardly stand there wondering what the hell to do, until a tall man with chestnut brown hair wearing maroon scrubs walks in focusing on a tablet, he kinda looks familiar to me.

He looks up from the tablet towards me.

Oh my god, I do know him, he was my ex-boyfriend from when I was a freshmen in college while he was a senior trying to get his degree in radiology, I guess he got to his residency if he's wearing scrubs and working here now.

He was also in the TDS fraternity, which is why I broke up with him, I caught him cheating at one of the only frat parties I went to. I only went becuase he wanted me to go, stupid decision on my part.

He looks up at me and I can see in his eyes that he realizes who I am.

"Oh, Willow. Hey." He says while starting to check me out.

"Bryan." I respond back with an eye roll.

"Are you getting an MRI for that psychology class?" He asks in which I just nod my head.

"Uh, well. I know you probably want to get out of here as soon as possible, so do you have any metal on you?" He asked almost as if he was anxious or nervous.

"No." I tell him bluntly.

"Ok, then. You can set your bag down there and lay on the bed." He says, but I think he was taken back by my attitude.

I throw my bag down on the chair and walk over to the MRI.

I lay on the bed but Bryan walks over and adjusts my head on the bed, positioning it over the pillow a certain way.

"So, um, some people like to listen to music, do you want to? The MRI can be pretty loud sometimes." He offered.

"I'm not a child." I scoffed, while Bryan threw his hands up in defense.

"I didn't say you were." He said, trying to defend himself.

"I guess so." I mumbled while shrugging my shoulders.

"Can you put on-I remember." Bryan said, interrupting me, at least he remembers something valuable from our relationship: my favorite band.

Bryan places the headphones over my ears and walked to the side to get some weird cage thing off a counter.

As Bryan focused on putting the thing over my head, I watched as his eyes concentrated and his eyebrows furrowed together trying to hook the thing up.

Now I remember why I first fell in love with him, his gorgeous, almost caring, hazel eyes always got me lost, almost like Noah's does. But Bryan, his eyes were just...breathtaking.

No wonder I got lured into his stupid frat boy trance.
