Noah's POV
Dr. Mullins appeared into my room, after I had a nurse page him when I woke up.
"When can I leave?" I asked respectively, but really wanting to get out of here and find my Willow.
"Not at least for another 24 hours. And even then, we still need to discuss your physical therapy. Speaking of which, let's replace these bandages and see how well it is healing." Dr. Mullins said, leaving my room for a few minutes before he reappeared with bandages.
"Tell me if you experience any pain. And don't pull your hand away from me." He said slowly starting to unwrap the bandages on my hand.
When it was fully unwrapped, my hand was just a purple-y and scraped up hand, it didn't even look like a hand.
It was so bruised and had stitches all over.
"Alright, individually lift each finger up." He instructed, which I slowly did with minimal pressure.
"Good, can you clench a fist and then unclench it." He instructed again, closely watching how it took me so much longer to squeeze my hand together.
"Hmm. How about holding this pen?" He said, handing me his pen.
I tried to grab it, but my hand slowly started shaking out of nowhere.
I got frustrated as my hand began to shake more.
WHY IS IT SHAKING.
I aggressively go to grab the pen, and I grab it, but as I hold it, my hand is still shaking out of nowhere.
I look up Dr. Mullins, my face being very concerned and upset and angry because my hand is RANDOMLY SHAKING.
"It's okay, Mr. Grey. That's what physical therapy is for. Your future will be saved, just relax." He said, taking his pen back.
Dr. Mullins carefully re-bandaged my hand and then set up a wheelchair that was in the corner of the room, when did that get there.
"Now, I'm going to slowly help you get into the wheelchair. Rely on me for support." Dr. Mullins offered as he pushed the wheelchair close to my bed.
Carefully, he helped me get into the wheelchair and he started pushing me somewhere.
I had no idea where we were going, until I saw the one person that was trying to screw up everything for me.
Bryan
Bryan was down at the end of the hall, and luckily he disappeared before he even saw me.
Dr. Mullins pushed me into a room, with another person in scrubs sitting at a computer in a small room connected to the much bigger room.
"Dr. Gomez, would you mind helping set Noah up for an x-ray and then an MRI after." Dr. Mullins said as he caught the person in scrubs' attention.
Dr. Mullins disappeared and Dr. Gomez pushed me into the room and put on a lead apron, that I was able to recognize from my radiology courses required for my DDS.
He slowly helped me into a lead apron and positioned my hand right under the x-ray.
"Don't move." He said as he disappeared into the room.
He did that multiple times, moving my hand to different positions in order to get the x-rays.
He took off my lead apron and pushed my wheelchair out of the x-ray room and into the hallway.
I immediately saw Bryan 15 feet in front of me and I tried to quickly hide my face.
Not wanting to pick another fight with him.
I didn't look to see where Bryan went or to even see what he was doing, I just wanted to hide from him and his stupid self.
"Yo, Bryan. Do you have an MRI available?" Dr. Gomez shouted all the way down the hall to Bryan.
"Yeah, sure. Bring them in." Bryan yelled, not realizing that it was me.
Oh my god. I cannot believe this.
Bryan is going to find out that the MRI is for me.
He's going to kill me again.
Bryan disappeared off into a room.
Dr. Gomez walked me into another room with an MRI in the middle of it and carefully situated me onto the MRI bed, since I couldn't rely on moving my hand at all or even supporting me.
As I was laying on the bed, Bryan must've noticed it was me.
"Oh god. Not this little piece of shiitake mushrooms." I heard his voice come on in the room over an intercom.
I just laid there in bed as he started yelling and mocking me, only a thin wall separating us.
"You piece of scum."
"You're nothing but a stupid cavity."
Bryan wouldn't stop attacking me with his words, I just laid there on the MRI bed and took it.
"I don't even know why Willow would date someone wanting to be a dentist."
"She is way too good for you. I don't know why she would date someone as low as you."
I didn't even flinch or yell back at him for anything that he said.
"You don't know anything about her."
"I bet you don't even know what's happening to her right now."
What!
Something is happening to her right now?
How could I not know if something was happening to my sweet tooth.
Maybe she is seriously mad at me.
I mean Bryan could just be lying to get under my skin but that's pretty low.
Before Bryan could say anything else, I heard him shut up and the whole entire intercom went silent.
"Dr. Miller, don't you have a scan to be running or do I need to get you fired."
