Deep down Cheryl always knew she liked girls, she loved their long hair and soft skin, or maybe she didn't exactly know why, but at least she knew she could never be with a man.
There certainly weren't any butterflies in her stomach when looking at one of the half naked boy posters in Veronica's bedroom.
Her mother however had other ideas about Cheryl's preference, she had been guessing Cheryl liked girls ever since a young age but never allowed it. She despised Cheryl for it.
Leaving Cheryl with the thought that she might actually be deviant and repulsive.
Until Toni came into the picture.
Cheryl and Toni have been dating for 5 months now, madly in love. Only they haven't had sex yet.
Toni knows Cheryl is a virgin, she knows by the way Cheryl speaks to her about the topic.

"Are you serious? Why? Where are we going?"
"I was thinking, since we've been together for almost 6 months, why don't we celebrate it? Sooo....I booked us a little cabin in the woods by the lake.
"Great idea TT, since when are you so romantic?", Cheryl said winking at Toni.
"Oh shut up, you know I'm trying my best", Toni said, rolling her eyes.
"Just kidding my love, I'm so excited", Cheryl squealed.

(The weekend)
They arrive at the cabin, a small but cozy cottage in the middle of the forest by the edge of a lake. There is no noise. No cars, no voices, the only sound perceived was a bird whistling fiercely in the sunlight.
Only a few more days left until the end of summer, however it was still hot and the sun was leaving its mark. The lake on the other hand looked irresistible, cool and quiet.
After admiring their surroundings Cheryl and Toni went inside. A queen size bed was placed in the middle of the room, with a cute little note on top that said, "enjoy your stay, may you have a wonderful time".
On the left side of the bed stood a rocking chair with next to it a cabinet full of books. On the other side a door leading to the bathroom.
"I think I'm gonna like it here TT", Cheryl said squeezing Toni's hand.

(Later that day)
Cheryl and Toni were sitting on a blanket by the lake as the sun slowly disappeared behind the mountain tops. Eventually leaving them underneath a sky full of stars.
