Toni wants to scare Cheryl and have a laugh, but things don't go according to plan and someone might get hurt.
They have a daughter named Rose

"Go go go go go." Toni whisper-yelled to her 4-year-old daughter Rose who was expectantly awaiting a sign from her momma.
Their plan was to startle Cheryl and remind her of the fact that it was almost Halloween, aka spooky season. It's not that Cheryl doesn't like Halloween, she loves the dressing up, handing out candy to the children, buying cute costumes for their daughter Rose. However there is one thing Cheryl isn't so fond of; when her family or anyone really, jump scares her.
"Boooo." Rose yelled when Cheryl walked around the corner, completely oblivious.
After a long day at work, Cheryl was exhausted, she was tired and ready to relax with her loved ones on the couch. There was nothing she craved for more.
When she was about to call for Toni, something jumped in front of her, something black and yellow it seemed and it roared. Immediately shaking her body in a state of panic and wariness.
Cheryl took a step back, instinctively trying to get away from the thing in front of her. Regrettably, she had completely forgotten about her bag, which she had placed on the floor directly behind her only a few seconds before. She gasped as she lost her balance and tumbled backwards. Her head hitting the hard kitchen tiles.
Toni, who was waiting around the corner, heard how Cheryl screamed as if she was being attacked by a crazy person with an axe. She giggled quietly, her wife was horribly afraid of a little bumble bee, that would make an excellent story to tell their friends.
Though, not only seconds later when she heard a bang and a whimper coming from the kitchen, she knew their plan had failed. Horribly failed.
She ran around the corner and saw how Cheryl was laying on the floor, clutching her head as she silently cried. "Oh my god, babe, are you alright, what happened?"
"I...I hit my head....on the floor." Cheryl stuttered, she was breathing heavily as she was still recovering from the fright.
As Toni sat down on the ground to support the redhead and hold her cheek, the little girl who had witnessed the whole thing suddenly started crying, hysterically.
"Ohh babygirl, come to mamma." Toni said as she reached out her hand to Rose who was sobbing in her hands. "I'm sooorryy." Rose said as she fell into Toni's embrace.
"It's...okay mon amour." Cheryl said through her own tears, knowing that this must have been Toni's idea and therefore not Rose's fault. "Mommy just isn't the biggest fan of jump scares okay."
Rose nodded. Her face was wet with tears and she was now sucking on her tumb, to comfort herself.
"I'm so sorry babe, I never meant to hurt you." Toni said realising what she had caused. She knew that Cheryl was having a rough time at work and that it was wearing her out. She knew Cheryl just wanted to come home and spend some quality time with her family, the two loves of her life. And that's exactly what she deserved. To be drowned in kisses after a long day at work or to enjoy a home cooked meal made freshly by Toni. Not to be scared to death and have a concussion, just so that she could have a laugh.
Cheryl opened her eyes and looked at Toni, "You're forgiven...but I thought you knew I don't like to be jumped."
Cheryl looked pained, miserable even. "I know baby, I know. I...feel so guilty and I promise it won't happen again." Toni said as she was still holding Rose with one hand and gently stroking Cheryl's head with the other, trying to relieve some of the pain for her.
