Cheryl is in the kitchen preparing a little dinner for Toni and herself to enjoy after the long week they had at school.
Like every Friday Toni comes over after her shift at the Wyrm and usually stays the night. They often enjoy a movie together or just cuddle on the couch, but today Cheryl wanted to be a little more extra and a little more romantic, because she believed Toni deserved it.
She knew Toni had been struggling with her anxiety lately and even though she kept strong and never really showed any fear, Cheryl knew that deep down Toni was exhausted.
When they started dating 8 months ago Toni had told Cheryl about her anxiety and that she's been going to therapy for it. Cheryl had always been extremely proud of the girl and encouraged her to keep going.
For the past year Toni has been working really hard on herself to improve her confidence and to accept the things for how they are. But it hasn't always been easy. The slightest inconvenience can cause a setback and tarnish the positive mindset she is trying to pursue.
Cheryl always tries her best to make things better and easier for Toni, whenever she isn't feeling so good. She comforts her in times of sadness and depression, she gives her open-mined advice on how to handle certain situations and most importantly, to be the listening ear when things get rough for Toni.
The only thing that troubled Cheryl greatly was that Toni seemed to be having a difficult time around her during sex. Cheryl had for instance never seen Toni naked before, because she always insisted on wearing a bra and panties while she pleasured Cheryl.
Cheryl obviously respected her girlfriend's decisions, but couldn't quite shake the thought as to why Toni felt so anxious and ashamed when they were making love.
Cheryl was pulled out of her train of thought when the familiar sound of the doorbell rang. She sprinted down the hallway and opened the door swiftly, only to be met with her lover's dark brown eyes. Toni chuckled and kissed her girlfriend back, "Hey cutie, you seem exceptionally happy, what's going on?" She said after Cheryl had pulled back.
"I am, because I get to spend the evening with my favorite person....aaaand I have a little surprise for you."
A smile formed on Toni's face, "ohh I'm excited."
"Well let's go, I'll show you." Cheryl said grabbing Toni's hand and pulling her inside of Thistlehouse.
Toni entered the diner area and saw that Cheryl had set the table. The entire room was enlightened with candles and some calm music was playing in the background.

"Ohh TT, let me just take care of you, you deserve it. I know that you've been struggling with your anxiety for the past few weeks, so I want you to just relax for a minute." Cheryl said giving Toni's hand a little squeeze.
"Thanks babe, I really appreciate it. I love you so much, I don't even know where I would be without you."
"I love you too TT." They stared in each other's eyes for some time, before Cheryl broke the comfortable silence. "Now make yourself at home...I mean..well you basically are at home, uhm while I get the food."
