"No one will ever love you. You are a disgrace for this family and a failure in this world. Such deviant behaviour is repulsive and unacceptable."

Those were the words that were spooking through Cheryl's mind as she was looking at the elegant white dress in front of her. One word, magical.

Cheryl had never, in a million years expected to see this day happen. It had always secretly been her dream though. She fantasised about her own wedding all the time when she was younger; a garden decorated with flowers, the green grass underneath their feet, cute little bridesmaids. But most importantly to hold the hand of her lover, for ever and always.

However Penelope certainly had different plans in mind for her only daughter. A husband who would provide a wealthy and prosperous life for her. Someone worthy of the Blossom name, someone who could honor them or worship them even.

When she found out about Cheryl's little secret she had been trying to keep, things abruptly changed. Penelope's toxic and aggressive behaviour towards Cheryl, resulted into lifelong trauma. Damage that could never be completely undone or healed.

Cheryl softly smiled as she looked at her dress, the evidence that her mother was wrong was obvious and right in front of her.

"Are you ready to get dressed beauty?" Veronica said as she stormed into the room with a lot of noise, pulling Cheryl out of her thoughts.

Cheryl turned around and looked at the raven-haired girl, her bestfriend, who insisted on being Cheryl's right hand. Veronica proclaimed herself as 'the' ultimate and only option to prepare Cheryl for her special day.

"I am" Cheryl simply responded as she looked around the room, remembering how lucky and grateful she was to experience this. "How is Toni looking?" She said as her lover crossed her mind.

Veronica smiled, loving the sight of Cheryl's twinkling eyes whenever she mentioned Toni. "Can't tell you dummy, I'm not going to be the one to spoil the moment."

For a second Cheryl actually seemed a little upset, the only thing she wanted right now was to talk to Toni and give her kisses and hugs while she was getting ready. "I know, I'm just so curious." Cheryl said in a soft voice, giving her best friend a little smile.

Veronica came closer and embraced the redhead, "you'll get to see her very soon girly." Veronica paused before speaking again, "you know I'm so incredibly proud of you Cher, you deserve the world, you really do. And I love you....as a friend of course." Veronica quickly added, squeezing Cheryl's arms lightly.

"I love you too V, I couldn't have done this life without you, you are a true blessing." Cheryl said as she could see tears in Veronica's eyes, making her own eyes watery as well.

"Just perfect." were the only words Veronica could enounce after Cheryl was fully dressed. The white dress that so graciously embraced Cheryl's body, big, red, glossy curls falling down onto her back and the magnificent make up left everyone speechless.

Everything was complete, Cheryl had never ever felt like this before, so much love and appreciation radiated through the room, making her feel like an angel.

However, the redhead's bubble was suddenly burst when Betty disturbed the comfortable silence with a sensitive question. A question Cheryl wasn't quite prepared for.

"Have you heard from your mother Cheryl, do you know if she's coming?" Betty asked innocently, thinking her cousin wasn't bothered by her question.
