3rd pov: Ash, having wanted to Immediately challenge Elesa decided against it, seeing how he had barely trained throughout his journey. Taking a few weeks off of gym battles Ash focused on finding the strongest trainers he could but..... regular trainer's started evoiding our hero as Ash began to truly give in to his evil side, not showing much mercy, even for his own Pokemon......... Eventually,  Ash had finally challenged gym leader Elesa.....

Elesa:  "So how many gym badges do you have Ash?" So this is who the town is afraid of?

Ash: "I currenty have three gym  badges" Unless you include my gym badges from different regions.....

Elesa: (walks towards a container): "Then I'll use these 3 pokemon, alex would you referee?"

Referee: "Yes mam! Uhh this will be a 2 vs. 2 fight. Only the challenger can substitute his pokemon, is the challenger ready?"

Ash: "Heck yeah!" Who do i use if Venipede gets knocked out?

Referee: "And is gym leader Elesa ready?"

Elesa: "Yes." To have installed fear into regular trainer's..... this won't be an easy fight.

Referee: "Then let the battle begin!"

Ash: Alright Venipede I'm counting on you.... "Venipede, I choose you!"

Venipede: "Veni!"

Elesa: a bug type? Then my choice is obvious. "Go Emolga!"

Emolga: "Emolga!"

Ash: Is that a flying type? Ehh whatever i guess I'll have to stick with poison type moves..... " Venipede start off with toxic!"

Elesa: Oh no you don't! " Emolga use gust to knock it back!"

Ash: Venipede can't get a clear shot with it moving around so much...... Thats it! "Venipede just like victini use string shot to still Emolga and then use your toxic attack!"

Elesa: Dammit now Emolga's poisoned! Better end this quick...... "Emolga use Aerial Ace!"

Emolga: "Emolga!"

Ash: An unavoidable move?!                   " Dammit Venipede use protect! "

Venipede: "Veni!"

Elesa: "Wont work! Emolga keep at it, don't let off the pressure!"

Emolga: "Emolga!"

Ash: We're pinned! Unless.... " Alright Venipede use dig!"

Elesa: No Way! " Emolga go into the hole and use thunder!"

Ash: I'm sorry about this venipede....... "Self-Destruct"

Elesa: "Emolga No!"

Emolga: "Emol- ............."

Venipede: " ................"

Ash: It was necessary venipede.......       " Thank you for your help, return venipede"

Elesa: No wonder the locals suspected him of animal cruelty...... few resort to such tactics....  " Emolga return"

Referee: Both pokemon are unable to battle, please send out your next pokemon

Elesa: Sacrificing your own damn pokemon...... "Alright, let's win this Electabuzz!"
