Ch. 19 A Journey Together? ( A mini chapter )

3rd pov: After waking up and having breakfast Ash went outside to train with Scizor while dawn made an important phone call

30 minutes later......

Johanna: "Dawn are you sure? You know there aren't any contests in-"

Dawn: "Yes I know mom but that doesn't mean I'll stop practicing, besides Ash is already halfway done with the gym challenge

Johanna: "Hmm...... So your just friends?"

Dawn: "Mom!"

Johanna: "You can't blame a mom for being suspicious, I mean your putting your career on hold for him"

Dawn: "I...... I'm sure after Unova we'll go somewhere with contests"

Johanna: "Already planning your future with him?"

Dawn: "Mom!"

Johanna: "Sorry sorry I had to. But you should probably let Barry and Zoey know you won't be rejoining them in hoenn, oh and also that May girl"

Dawn: "How do you still not know her name? But anyways bye mom!"

Johanna: "bye swee- of course, she already hung up......"

Dawn: "I should probably call them now......."

2 hours later of a shocked Zoey and a whiny Barry

Dawn: Jeez that kid doesn't know when to shut it....

3rd pov: Just then Ash came back into the house after having taught Scizor Slash and Metal Claw he was pretty satisfied with his new catch but sadly now he had to leave

Ash: "Dawn......... I guess this is goodbye"

Dawn: I could tell him I'm coming with him.... or I could wait till we're in the airport...... "I'll see you off Ash"

Ash: I..... I don't want to leave her...... But what about Unova? What about the league? Besides I've already faught in the hoenn league....... nah she would want me to continue. She's just a friend anyways..... right?

3rd pov: For the rest of the trip towards Jubilife City Ash and Dawn spoke about their travels in sinnoh, and of Dawns adventure in Hoenn all the while Ash was seriously considering taking a sizeable break from traveling, with everything on his mind.....

7 hours later in Jubilife airport

Dawn: Guess I better let him know "Ash I was wondering if-

Ash: "Dawn I- Oh uhh you first"

Dawn: "No no you go first"

Ash: Do I go with her...... I...... "Dawn I was wondering if you.....if I........ go..... nevermind"

Dawn: What was he going to say?

Ash: "What did you have to say?"

Dawn: Here goes nothing..... "Ash... can I.. can I travel with you, through Unova I mean"

3rd pov: Shocked by Dawn's question Ash quickly came up with a way for him to not compromise Dawn's dream just so she could travel with him......

Ash: "I..... maybe I could blitz through the gym leaders of Unova and while we wait for the league to start up we could go to hoenn"

Dawn: He'd do that for me? "That sounds....... Amazing! But which city are we going to first?"

Ash: "Nimb-" I can't face her yet.... "Err I mean Mistralton City!"

Dawn: Why did he stutter? Could that be where Elesa's gym is? "Ash..... Remember what that gym leader said was wrong!"

Ash: Was it wrong..... "I know..... I just think Mistralton City is the place to go" I shouldn't have told her about Elesa..... or my problems....... I'm just dragging her down....

Dawn: Best to not push it.... "Well what are waiting for? Let's get on the plane!"

Piplup: "Plup!"

Pikachu: "Pika!"

Ash: "Heh you excited to be going back?" At least your happy....

Pikachu: "Pika!"

Ash: "Let's do this!"

3rd pov: After their signature high five Ash and Dawn got on the first plane heading towards Mistralton City. Ash and Dawn ended up talking about places to go after Unova and hoenn, both slightly blushing from time to time while piplup and Pikachu would snicker at their trainers.........
