Ch. 4 Whispers of Jhoto?

Huge Warning!⚠️, This undoubtedly is the worst written chapter in the entire book, ya know after finishing half of this thing and coming back to this chapter to try and fix it....... This shite is unsalvageable but sadly it's necessary because of what ash gains in the chapter; Don't worry with enough DETERMINATION you can get through this chapter

2 days later, Slightly northwest of Striation city; abandoned ruins

Ash: "According to the map, an entrance into Wellspring cave should be accecible from these ruins......."

Pikachu: "Pika!!!"

Ash: "No we are not lost!" me and my damn shortcuts...

Rufflet: "Ruff.!!"

Ash: "Hey don- whats that?"

Pikachu: "Chuu?"

3rd pov: Upon closer inspection the group found that what they had previously thought to be just scribbles on the walls were actually letters, or symbols

Ash: "Maybe its an ancient language?" I've seen markings like these before...

Pikachu; "Pika?"

Rufflet: "Flet?"

Ash: "Your right Rufflet lets see what the pokedex will say when i scan it"

Pokedex: "Unown language detected, these symbols are commonly found in the ruins of Alph, it has yet to be deciphered"

Ash: "Ruins of Alph? Isn't that in Jhoto?" But I thought I saw something like this in Sinnoh..... "Why would there an ancient language originating in Jhoto be in unova? The 2 region's aren't even close!"

3rd pov: Touching the markings, Ash's entire body became surrounded with a dark aura...... but nothing happened. At least for now....... Our hero didn't have much time to think about it since the matter at hand took precident.

Rufflet: "Ruff!"

Ash: "Rufflet whats wro- oh my Arceus what is that!"

Pikachu: "Pika!!"

Rufflet: "Ruff!"

Ash: "huh? You guys hear something? Okay well lead the way i guess" hopefully it's not trouble.....

3rd pov: With rufflet leading the way, the three went deeper into the ruins. The closer they got to wherever rufflet wanted them to go the more anxious they became

Ash: "Rufflet are you sure we should keep going further? I... I can hardly see anything ahead of us" damn this fog straight to hell..... if only Pikachu knew defog.....

Pikachu: "Pika......"

Rufflet: "Ruff!"

Ash: "Are you sure-"

Unkown pokemom: "Hound!!!!"

Unkown person: "Quiet Mutt!!"

Ash: "Oh this better not be what i think it is! Cmon Rufflet and Pikachu we have to hurry!"

Pikachu: "Chuu!"

Rufflet: "Flet!"

3rd pov: The closer they got the more angry Ash became, he had no doubt that whatever was howling must be a pokemon, likely abused..... finally making it to the source of the noise Ash was shocked to find a dead pokemon and a team rocket grunt with an egg

Rocket Grunt: "Hey get outa here kid you didn't see nothing ya hear? "

Ash: ..........

Rocket Grunt: "Ya hear!"

Ash: "You........ did you do this?"

Rocket grunt: "Yeah so what?"

3rd pov: Anger roared with Ash, how could someone be so cruel to a pokemon? Doesn't he know how amazing they are? Giving I'm to his anger Ash ordered his pokemon to attack the grunt, something he normally would have never done...... but he held no pity for poachers.

Ash: "Rufflet be ready grab that egg, Pikachu use volt tackle!"

Pikachu: "Pika! PIKA! PIKAAAA!"

3rd pov: rufflet had already been flying around the room ready to grab the egg, its moment came when the team rocket grunt took the full force of pikachu's volt tackle , luckily even though rufflet was a bit scared it managed to grab the egg and flew back to its traine- err Ash. By this time Ash's brief period of anger hadn't completely went away but Ash couldn't focus on that right now, since he still had to decide what to do with the egg....

Ash: "Ahh thank you rufflet here drop it in my backpack "

Rufflet: "Ruff!"

Ash: "What? You want to sit in my backpack? I mean i guess It'll keep the egg warm so sure think rufflet hop in!"

Pikachu: "Pika!"

Ash: What do you mean, i was being too harsh on the guy? He was hurting that poor pokemon, for arceus's sakes he killed it!" And then there's the egg... That pokemon was probably it's protector so.... guess I'll take it with me.

Pikachu: "Chuuuu..........."

3rd pov: Realizing that he had just yelled

Ash: "I..... I'm sorry for yelling, lets just get outa here, i think i can see opening over there"

Pikachu: "Pika!"

Ash: "Wait dont run without me or Rufflet!"

Rufflet: "Ruff!"

After a few minutes of running

Ash: "Phew...... man well i guess at least we found an exit and hey wait a minute this is an entrance to Wellspring Cave! Yes we found it, if we just go through the secret exit of the cave we should end up at Nacrene City!"

Pikachu: "Pika pika?"

Ash: "Ahh your right pikachu we should probably set up camp since its already dark out, man how long were we in those ruins?"

Rufflet: "Flet!"

Ash: "That's fine with me rufflet, you can stay in my backpack during dinner if you want"

Rufflet: "Rufflet!"

Ash: "Damn! Oh well... you guys are lucky that i have some leftover oran berries from yesterday and as for me i have.... dammit i forgot to pack food.. (sigh) welp guess I'm eating an oran berry for dinner......"

3rd pov: Our 3 Hero's, after rescuing that odd pokemon egg now rest on their lorals having sett up camp right outside of Wellspring cave, preparing themselves for the journeys ahead!

Why would Ash have Pikachu use volt tackle? Wasn't that a bit harsh? Wouldn't thundershock have worked as well? And what was that evil aura that entered Ash's body? And how will it effect the story? Find out next time, on Dragon Ball- Srry I had too..... Anyways, Till next time,
