The next day

Pikachu: "Pika?"

Ash: "Hmph? Guess i forgot to tell you that we're staying here a little longer than expected "

Pikachu: "Pika?"

Ash: "It's not like that!" Jeez who made pikachu like this.....

3rd pov: Dawn woke up to yelling, sighing to herself she figured that she might as well start the day, plus she really wanted to meet Ash's new pokemon. Walking downstairs she made her arrival known

Dawn: "It's not like what?"

Ash: Think of something quick ketchum...... "It's not like....... like I was eating!"

3rd pov: Hearing Ash's pitiful attempt at covering up what they had been talking about Pikachu broke out into a fit of laughter causing Dawn to get very suspicious

Dawn: "Do I want to know?"

Ash: "Nope! But hey at least you finally woke up, here eat while we  walk"

Dawn: Wait why are we going on a walk...... "Uhh Where to Ash?"

Ash: "Just this lake I had seen while I was making my way here"

Dawn: Oh damn he means lake verity.  "Shouldn't I get to meet your pokemon first? "

Ash: "When we get there, it'd be a shame to release them  just to immediately put them back in their pokeballs" 

Dawn: "Well what are we waiting for then? C'mon I'll race you there!"

Ash: "Oh your so on!"

4 hours later of running and eventually walking and hiking

Dawn: "Are we there yet?"

Ash: "Dawn this is your town, shouldn't you already know?"

Dawn: "Yeah well after there were reports of wild gyrados a few years ago everyone stopped coming"

Ash: "that sucks, this place is just-

Dawn: "beautiful"

3rd pov: Having finally arrived, ash sent out his new team, to say dawn was shocked would be an understatement, A real shiny! And a fire type with water type moves?!

Dawn: "How did you find these?"

Ash: "Oh well me and Pikachu found rufflet on the first route, didn't even know it was a shiny at first."

Rufflet: "Fflet!"

Ash:"As I was saying Next we found an egg in some old ruins. wound up being one of the most odd Pokemon I've ever met, houndour. We found Venipede in some forest, don't even remember the name but he's a strong fighter and has a surprisingly versatile move set"

Houndour: "Hound!"

Venipede: "Veni!"

Dawn: "Wow their all so adorable!"

Ash: I don't know if misty would agree with you about Venipede........ "Hey how about a match between us? One vs. One?"

Dawn: "Sure I'm up for it" Hmm we're near the water so piplup would be a good choice..... or maybe Mamoswine..

Ash: Maybe rufflet? Or houndour? or- uhh I hate not being able to decide on anything! Screw it! "Go Venipede!"

Venipede: "Veni!"

Dawn: Well in that case....... "Let's win this together Mamoswine!"

Mamoswine: "Swine!"

3rd pov: Seeing the large beast Venipede got slightly nervous but to Dawn's shock ash wasn't reasurring his Pokemon, if anything he looked in a daze while Pikachu was doing his best to cheer and coach Venipede
