The Real Truth
Series 3 Chapter 17Harry and Hermione flood with the rest of the Weasleys onto the station. They broke off along with Ginny to find a compartment, waving bye to Molly and Arthur. Harry noticed that Lucius and Narsissa were flooing away right before they were enveloped in green flames. The trio continued on their hunt for an empty compartment. Harry stashed his trunk away once they found one before turning to Hermione and Ginny.
"I'll be back in a bit." He told them before leaving.
Harry made his way down to the 'Slytherin' part of the train. There weren't actually any parts but because Gryffindors and Slytherins hated each other so much they had claimed certain areas of the train. Funnily enough, even though Harry was in Gryffindor, because he was Voldemort's son as well as a Slytherin he was accepted by everyone in the house by now. In reality though, most kids were probably just too scared of him to do anything. Harry found the compartment he was looking for and walked in, sitting down on his boyfriend's lap.
"What are you doing here?" Draco asked, surprised.
Harry shrugged, "You always complain about how I never come to find you so I came. Coincidentally that also means that you have to deal with me and my Gryffindor side."
Draco rolled his eyes and gave Harry a quick kiss.
"So~ Are we just going to act like it's normal for Draco to be kissing the dark lord's son who also happens to be Harry Potter?" Blaise asked.
"I don't understand why you'd have to act." Harry said, "This is normal."
"Even the whole, sitting on each other's lap thing?" Pansy asked.
"Yes."
It was then that Draco noticed something was off. He looked directly at Harry and narrowed his eyes.
"You're concealing your magic." He declared.
Harry blinked, "Uh, yeah. I can't just waltz around without it being somewhat concealed."
"Why?"
"Because it's suspicious. Dumbledore will become increasingly curious about my sudden drastic boost of magic and even with my lessons with Severus my Occlumency still needs work-"
"Did you just call him Severus? And he's giving you lessons on Occlumency?!"
Harry smirked, "Get ready to wear Gryffindor colors in front of everyone."
Draco paled and Blaise poorly covered up a laugh.
"Why does Draco have to wear Gryffindor colors?" Pansy asked.
"Apparently I lost a bet." Draco muttered bitterly.
"The colors aren't that bad. Sure the red can be a little obnoxious, and the gold can sometimes be so bright that it's blinding, but it's fine." Harry told him.
"Oh how you make it sound so much more appealing." Draco drawled, his voice laced with sarcasm.
Harry smiled innocently, "I do tend to make a lot of things sound appealing."
