The Real Truth
Series 2 Chapter 13Draco stood to the side of the hall, talking with Blaise and Pansy over some butterbeer. His left arm still stung but he didn't pay it any mind as he joked along with his friends. He glanced over towards where the dark lord stood conversing with his father. Had Harry told him yet? Draco knew that his father knew of his relationship with Harry. He hadn't been happy about it at all. He'd wanted Draco to grow up and marry a wealthy pure-blooded female. Then produce a male heir. Eventually, he'd come around to their relationship, though it had took some time. Draco had a feeling that he only accepted it because Harry was his Lord's son. It probably didn't even matter that they were mates in his eyes. Draco sighed. If his father reacted so badly when he found out, then what would happen when the dark lord found out? He shook his head, not wanting to think of all the different punishments that might occur to him or his family, perhaps even Harry.
Draco looked away and tried to focus on his conversation with his friends, though his attention was drawn away again when he saw a certain pale, black haired boy with green eyes appear in the back corner of the room with a girl at his side
. . . . . .
Harry and Hermione appeared in the back of the gathering hall. It was still alive with people celebrating and no one seemed to notice their sudden appearance. Harry spotted Voldemort and made his way towards him, telling Hermione to stay there.
"We need to talk." Harry said.
Voldemort turned around, if he was surprised he didn't show it. Instead, he raised a hairless eyebrow.
"It's a long story and not one that should particularly be shared with others." Harry told him, lowering his voice.
"How urgent is it?"
Harry rolled his eyes and gestured to Hermione who was looking around, appearing very uncomfortable surrounded by Death Eaters.
Voldemort took one good look at her then turned back around, "I have something to attend to, we can finish this conversation later." He told Lucius, then turned around and followed Harry back to Hermione.
"Am I to assume she knows everything?" Voldemort asked.
"She knows everything I told her." Harry replied.
"And what have you not told me?" Hermione asked.
"More than you'd think." Hermione made an over exaggerated offended face, Harry ignored it and turned back to his father, "She knows all she needs to know."
He nodded, "Why are you both here?"
"That's what I needed to tell you." Harry said.
"Very well, follow me."
They followed him out of the hall and down a few others until they got to a smaller room that held an assortment of seats and a table. Harry recognized it as the drawing room, where his father and the inner circle would make their plans.
He and Hermione took a seat while Voldemort put up wards and charms.
"What happened?" He asked once he was finished.
